Such a perfect size! If you find full size (9×6) to be a little too large and the Personal size (7×4) too small, you will love this. My favorite-sized Bibles have been the Cambridge Concord and the Schuyler Treveris – both in the 8×5 range which this is as well. It’s not compact, it’s mid-sized.. Then there’s the text layout which is just outstanding. I have always struggled with full sized single column Bibles as my head and eyes would need to move across the page every line. This is compact enough for me to look at and read without moving my head. Amazing margins. Ultra premium paper. The last element to brag on is the Sienna leather. It’s not red. It’s not brown. It’s not orange, but it leans toward each of those. The almost-full yapp is luxuriously delicious. Only weird thing – most new Bibles have the amazing leather smell. This one reeks of glue. I think they’re hot off the press and hopefully that smell will diminish shortly.

The collaboration between EvangelicalBible and Crossway offering three (3) new ESV Heritage exclusive Bibles in three new quality leathers and colors is fantastic. These Bibles are striking to the touch and pleasant to look upon. The 9.25-point font size allows the reader a comfortable reading experience. However, it is important that we recognize that the Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six (66) books between the leather covers, is proclaiming the inspired words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When we read and study the bible, His words provide us with the daily “Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding” needed to nourish and enlighten our spiritual growth and lives.

A beautiful Bible! My ESV Study Bible cover has been falling apart and I’ve been wanting a smaller Bible to carry. Initially I was worried that the new ESV Heirloom Heritage might be as big as my study Bible. I have found it to be a very comfortable size and the typeface is much easier for my aging eyes. The Sienna calfskin that Evangelical Bible sourced is absolutely incredible. I couldn’t be more pleased. This Bible is indeed an heirloom.
