This ESV Study Bible has become a core resource for me. It is simply gorgeous—a joy to behold! I could go on and on about the beauty and quality, not to mention Resourcefulness. I like the single column setting. I cannot think of a single negative. Another glorious Crossway Heirloom Bible!

I’ve purchased at least a dozen or so premium leather Bibles from evangelicalbible.com. I was skeptical at first when ordering this one, since all the Bible’s previously purchased were Allan, Cambridge, and numerous Schuyler Bibles.
This Bible and the quality put into it did not disappoint. While the goatskin doesn’t quite match the feel of Schuyler’s goatskin, it is durable and feels nice.
This is a HEAVY Bible. While some may not feel comfortable bringing it to church, or would prefer keeping it at home for study, I’ve done both. While it’s heavy, it’s not unbearable.
Fine Bible and with all the resources it contains, it is definitely worth the money.

I have not been able to put this thing down since I received it. Still trying to figure out the ESV version, but the quality of this Bible far exceeds anything I have ever had or even seen. The leather is super soft and pliable. The paper is, well it is hard to explain, it is just several steps above even the nicest Bibles I have. A shout out to Evangelical Bible, there was an issue with my address, and they called me personally within an hour or so of placing my order and got the correction they needed and got my Bible shipped the same day I ordered. Very good service.

Just received my Crossway 80th Anniversary Heirloom ESV Study Bible. It is everything the description claims, right down to the four 3/8″ quality ribbons (a definite upgrade from the 1/4″ ribbons in my Heirloom Legacy bible). High quality goatskin case, L.E.G.O printing. Royal Jongbloed binding, everything you would expect in a premium bible from EB. it compares very favorably with the Schuyler bibles from EB. I already had the cowhide version of the ESV Study Bible but couldn’t pass up the goatskin. It feels wonderful in the hand. I just wish there was a way to preserve the leather smell forever. Thanks again for the beautiful bible and excellent service.

Just received this premium Bible yesterday. First let me say that Evangelical Bible were friendly and prompt when I emailed them a few times. My Bible was sent via USPS Media Mail but Evangelical Bible packaged it well so it arrived to me undamaged.
Now on to the actual Bible. This Bible is well built, sturdy and should last a lifetime. The pages are smooth, easy to turn and have little to no glare. The only downside I have with this Bible is that I prefer the print on the Reformation Study Bible but that is only a minor complaint.
The extra notes, articles and such are well worth the price tag on this Bible. You will spend many an hour reading all the articles and study notes.
I would recommend also buying the Reformation Study Bible because that Bible also includes the Confessions and Catechisms (Such as the 1689 London Baptist Confession) as well as articles and study notes. With these two study Bibles you should have all that you need!

The print is nice, although a bit lighter than I like, still just fine. The paper is good quality, with a small amount of ghosting. Line matching isnt really an consideration given all of the charts and extra notations it would be very difficult to line match. The binding seems sturdy, and very nicely done. The goatskin leather is very floppy and feels good in your hands. The Bible lays almost flat right out of the box. The art guilting is beautiful. I would prefer it be a bit darker but thats a matter of preference. This is a beautiful Bible. I own Schuyler, Cambridge, Allen, CBP, etc…….23 Bibles total. A small collection compared to some, but most of which are high quality. This one ranks up there with the Schuyler, and Allen for sure. This will be my go to Bible when I want clarification on any particular verse. Let me be clear, this Bible is a TANK of a Bible. It will give you a workout if you think youre going to sit in your favorite armchair and relax with this in your lap, you’d probably be wrong. It would be too heavy and unwieldy for such use. If you happen to be laying in bed it can rest easily on a pillow on your lap, but is best suited for setting at a desk. Let me repeat, this is one heavy bulky Bible. That being said, it probably contains about the same volume of information as an 15-20 volume Bible set. Seriously, this holds a plethora of information. I love mine. I bought it expecting it to be a huge Bible, I just want anyone considering this purchase to be well informed. Overall I give this Bible a 10 out of 10. It hits on all cylinders. It will be my absolute go to source for extra scriptural information for many years I am sure. I truly believe if you were to purchase all of the books separately that would contain the information that is in this Bible the price tag would total well over $500.00, so although this Bible comes in at a premium price tag it is still a bargain when compared to others in this price range.

I just received by Bible yesterday. I compared it with my previous Calfskin ESV Study Bible, the books name is a little smaller but very vivid and there are no more border lines separating the cross-references and the page number. The leather cover is very soft. The quality is very good, it will last a lifetime. I’m very pleased. It is a wonderful Bible that someday I can pass on to my grandkids. Thank you Crossway!
