Stunning. Beautiful. Educational. Soothing to read. Beautifully constructed–if not as good as my Schuyler Bible I don’t see the difference. A steal for the price on this website. I’m currently doing a new Bible reading doing Holman’s Holy Land Illustrated Bible (which I also strongly recommend, BTW), but look forward to dipping into this. The value of this Bible isn’t that it’s an end-all education on early church writings, but that it’s a fantastic survey/introduction to possibly spur further research on the part of the reader. I really enjoy the slightly creamy paper–it makes it easier on my aging eyes than bright white. The font is eminently legible and I don’t notice it while reading: that, for me, is ideal. I like the bio dictionary in the back. It’s a good-sized Bible, definitely not a vest pocket publication, but instead one to enjoy at one’s desk or easy chair. Thanks to Evangelical Bible for making this affordable!
