I have had this Bible for a couple of weeks now. It’s a great Bible. The cover is great. I love the features of the Bible as well. That brown goatskin looks great! There are just a few minor issues, but considering the price point, I cannot complain too much. Compared to the Schuyler Bibles, this goatskin cover is much stiffer. That is the main reason I am giving a 4-star review. I have noticed, though, that the cover does get a little better the more it is used. Overall, it’s a great purchase.

I was nervous about spending this much on a Bible. But man!! I’m so glad I did! I love everything about this Bible. The goatskin is like butter. The 39gsm paper is way better than I imagined. It feels great to hold the Bible in your hands and to turn the pages. You will not regret purchasing this Bible. Plus the shipping was fast, and the inscription was perfect.

This study bible is amazing I loved it from receive have been over protective with it lol like with the art gilding I didint want any scratches got one accidentally but it’s ok the Bible paper is great tho with Mr. Pen bible highlighters is does go through I was surprised with such great quality paper but it’s ok didint bother me much it’s totally Loaded with information to study from overall 5 star review for Mei loved the Goatskin also love the smell of the goatskin leather and paper also anyways there’s my review hope you sale more to serious bible students God Bless

This is an excellent upgrade to the MacArthur Study Bible NASB. I agree wholeheartedly with the positive reviews here..crisper text, good paper, much improved legibility with the Comfort Print. I love my Schuyler NASB, but Thomas Nelson has really done a great job here. So thankful to have vastly improved readability for my favorite Study Bible, thank you EB and Nelson!

I have this Bible in the NKJV as well as this one. The leather is a bit thicker on the NKJV–which I really like. It is also a little bit of a darker shade of brown than this one–but that’s good because it helps me to distinguish one from the other. Both are just really outstanding Bibles. The craftsmanship is impeccable on both Bibles. I’m so glad I have them both because this and the NKJV are my favorite translations. Also, the paper is really nice and the ribbons are wonderful (satin-sides on all three ribbons). I do wish that my NASB had as thick of leather on the covers as my NKJV–but that is just getting nick-picky. I too have very high-quality Bibles–Allan, Cambridge and Schuyler–and this ranks just as high as they do. I think whichever translation you get, you will be entirely pleased with the result. Just a really great Study Bible. Johnny Mac provides boat-loads of information. Very solid!

This is an excellent upgrade to the MacArthur Study Bible!
The internal color schemes, make the Biblical text, and the notes, far more visually appealing, compared to the original, which was rather dull.
The brown goatskin is beautiful to hold and behold. When first unpacking this Bible, your hands just kinda know that they have come into contact with high quality material.
Delete all doubts and reservations concerning this Bible. You cannot and will not be disappointed.

I am very pleased with this Bible. I am a Bible enthusiast, and like really high quality Bibles. I own a number of Allan, Schuyler, and Crossway Bibles, and I feel this Bible stacks up favorably to those, and is almost as nice. If you like John MacArthur, this is a must. If you like the NASB this is a must. This is a goatskin covered NASB BIBLE, Encyclopedia, and Commentary all in one, with certainly most of what you would want to know about the New Testament and much of the Old Testament. The notes while small type are really easy to read. The Comfort Print really does its job. I am so pleased to have a Bible tool like this in such a high quality package. I believe this MacArthur 2nd edition has about 5,000 more notes than the 1st edition also. Really pleased with my purchase, and I will be carrying this as my main Bible. Great Bible!!!!!!

I absolutely love this beauty. This is an heirloom gem for any true student of the bible and for NASB fans period. I’ve been thinking long and hard of what bibles I’d like to pass on to my children and I have finally found it in this gorgeous 2nd Edition NASB MacArthur Study Bible by Thomas Nelson. Thomas Nelson has been on fire lately producing gorgeous editions for their flagship NKJV, and have blessed NASB fans with this jam packed study bible. This bible holds verse by verse exposition of the text by none other than one of the greatest bible expositors of our generation and of all-time in my opinion. The beautiful brown, leather lined goatskin will last years and the design is beautiful to look at and hold. The paper is a stunning 39gsm,line-matched, with linematched notes! A true beauty of design and an heirloom bible to pass onto my kids. At the amazing price EB is offering it, I couldn’t pass up, and it looks like I’ll be purchasing three more for my sons. Thanks to Thomas Nelson and EB for this lifetime bible and resource. I recommend it to ANYONE who even thinks about purchasing it. You will not be disappointed. God bless!

Monstrous, heavy, and appears to be made for function Over beauty. First, all the gold writing on the spine cheapens the look and is a huge miss-I paid enough not to have you advertise on my bible. The font is also clean with no effort at beauty. I like the use of a different color for chapter and verse, but why use the same color for practically everything else-except maps? Overall I’m disappointed and considering a return if possible. Not nearly aesthetically designed for the price.
