the reason the bible stinks is because it was printed in China have ten of them and they all smell. Shame on harper Collins for diving into cheep printing at amity. They might try reading the word they peddle. 1 Tim 6:10

  2. Heshimu Colar

It’s a good bible for the price. Soft leather. I would not recommend to anyone who does not have excellent eyesight. It is nowhere near the quality of the Schuyler.

  3. Rob

Nice product but it’s dimensions are off. Height and width are about 1” more. Looking for the dimensions advertised. Lower stars for false advertising.

I absolutely love this premium Bible. Beautiful Bibles are my passion, and I’ve been collecting them and giving them away for almost 50 years. That being said, I think this Bible is my favorite. From the soft quality leather and beautiful gilding to the dark easy to read print, generous yap, wide quality ribbons and excellent maps, I’m happy to easily give this Bible 5 stars. It amazes me that the cost was so low for such quality.

  5. Blair Fraser

This Bible is very nice. Premium leather, good binding, nice print, and a classical format. The only issue I have is that the font is not a 11 point. It is more like a 9 to 9.5 point.

I have had this Bible for a number of months now and it’s great. Very good value for money and made well. No it’s not an Allan or Schuyler but it’s much better value for money and it does the same thing, contains Gods word.

Amazing Bible! I just got the NJKV Schuyler the same day I got this and it’s a difficult choice between the two. For the price you cannot find a finer Bible. Smells amazing and the goatskin is extremely soft and supple in fact it is the softest and most supple I have ever felt. The print is very readable and the layout is perfect. Thanks for a great edition!

When I received this Bible the very first impression was the box was extremely scuffed up. I was very surprised it did not appear in new condition. Considering this was purchased as a “premium” Bible, I felt the box should have been in excellent condition. When I did open the box, the Bible had a very strong, unpleasant odor. It has been sitting “airing out” for 6 days now and still smells extremely bad. I’m shocked this would even be sent out to a customer, just by the look of the box initially, but seriously question the quality control of who these have been sourced from. Because the smell literally burns your nose and permeates your hand with odor, I have yet to even try to enjoy the Bible. As a first time customer, I have to say this purchase has been a terrible disappointment.

Other than the Schuyler edition, this is by far the most beautiful, elegant rendition of the New King James Version Bible that I have ever seen, and I think I’ve seen them all. This is laid out similar to the ESV Omega Edition, 2 wide columns, with the references on the bottom of the page; 3 thick (3/8 in) satin ribbon markers (2 black, 1 red).
Thomas Nelson has finally stepped up their game, and has released a fantastic new Bible! A+++
And of course, nobody beats EV’s great price on this Bible, or any Bible for that matter.

This Bible is superb! The leather is incredibly soft, perhaps the most soft on the market, the book block is sewn wonderfully so that it lays flat in your lap and the typeface, though not as big as I had imagined, is excellent. Those with a Quentel will see this typeface and be thankful for the familiarity. I could really go on and on about the stunning nature of this Bible, especially given the price. I would have expected to pay more and would not have raised a complaint if I had. For an under served translation to receive such attention now in the premium Bible market has made me incredibly happy. I hope that this Bible succeeds in landing many new admirers.

I am sitting here, looking at this Bible, and it is beautiful. However, several things don’t jive with your description. The page size measurement is wrong. (The whole Bible measures 9.7/8 x 6.11/16 x 1.) There are no book introductions. I think I’ll return this Bible. I’m looking at the Quentel and wondering what is incorrect on it’s description.
