Just received my shipment today containing the antique marble brown and the imperial blue journals. They are, without a doubt, the finest journals I’ve ever purchased. The contrast between the goatskin covers and the gold pages is great! The stitching is very well done! The Table of Contents is a nice added feature that I’ve never had in a journal before. I cannot wait to begin using these as a prayer journal! Does anyone have a recommendation on the best type of pen to use to write in these journals? From the looks of the pages, it seems a ballpoint may work best, but would like others opinions before I start because I don’t want it to bleed through the pages.

This is a fantastically well made journal. The paper is excellent for use with a fountain pen. If there was one thing I would change if it was up to me, it would be an increase of the page count. Maybe I can hope for a special edition one day. I constantly take detailed notes while reading up on miscellaneous subject matter. This journal is my new favorite constant companion.

It will be hard for anyone else to top this journal. It even beats out Allans’ journals in my opinion as well. I purchased this antique marble brown journal to match my Schuyler Caxton NLT in the same color. I plan on starting to use it for when our new senior pastor starts preaching in the beginning of next year. This leads me also to say that the set up in the beginning of the pages in the journal is great. It has a spot for the table of contents and the page number. This is absolutely perfect for writing the name of the sermon and what page(s) that it is written on so I can easily find my notes on a specific sermon.
