This is the most beautiful Bible I have ever seen, and I’m thrilled to have it! The look, feel, and smell of it make me want to keep it in my hands. I love the layout of the text, and the red drop caps are very attractive. It lays flat open, and is easy to read. This will be a great Bible to hand down to my sons someday.
I’d like to have a standard size Canterbury in calfskin with a full yapp, so I’ll keep looking.

Me and my wife both have first printings of this Bible and I wanted the newer one with no self pronouncing text. This Bible is amazing. Schuyler just gets better and better. I love the feel of the Marbled Mahogany Calfskin it makes it a joy to read.

I wasn’t sure if I would like the calfskin as much as I like the goatskin that’s on my KJV Treveris. After receiving it and holding it in my hands, I actually prefer the calfskin. Pictures really don’t do the marbled mahogany calfskin justice. In person, it is absolutely gorgeous.
As always with Schuyler, the text block is fantastic and the craftsmanship is second-to-none. The paper is perfect for a compact Bible, and the font size is easy to read. I think Schuyler makes the best Bibles on the market, and this Bible is no exception. If you’re looking for a portable Bible, this is the one to get.
