Beautiful Bible, very readable font. Excellent craftsmanship and just plain feels good in my hand. Although I would have preferred more of a bright red, this red is still wonderful.
My only disappointment is that there is no concordance like the full size has. I do use my concordance and since this is a small easy to carry Bible it would be great when I am visiting members in the hospital or extended care facility. I will need to use my phone if I am looking up a verse. Other than that it is great!

This is my fourth goatskin PSQ, and my fifth PSQ overall. Every one of them has outstanding quality and workmanship. I would say this is the perfect small size Bible that is great to read and carry anywhere. The leather is soft and flexible and the font is easy to read. The only critique I have is that the red isn’t very bright. I have a red calfskin PSQ that is a very bright red, but his one is darker and more subdued. Even with that, it is still a beautiful Bible and built to last several generations. As usual, the customer service was awesome!

So this is a review related to the specific marketing of this Bible. The pictures that have been provided by EV Bible are deceiving. The final product turned out to be more of a straight up ‘Brick Red’. It could not be called a Firebrick Red. Now for some, this might be a draw. You might want a Bible that is not a brighter red. Unfortunately for me, I was really looking for the color represented in the photos. EV Bible’s official stance is that this is just how the run turned out. My response to that is that they have a responsibility to immediately replace these photos with accurate photos once the run comes into the warehouse. As the customer, we do not have the ability to look at these Bibles in person, so we are 100% dependent on the accuracy of the photos provided. In this regard the customer assumes all the risk in the purchase.
I did contact EV Bible and they made it my problem. I’m sure I would have been responsible to pay for the return shipping and a restocking fee. In the end, I decided to simply keep it since they had me between a rock and a hard place. All this to say that if you are excited about the color represented on this page, please be aware that you won’t receive a Bible that looks remotely like it.
The quality of material is excellent. The Bible for me is a perfect size, but the overall marketing flaw along with disappointing customer service leaves this unfortunately at a two star experience.

I bought this little beauty, and it arrived safely via the priority shipping. I am impressed by the readability–the paper is quite white and the type, while small, is very crisp. The reasons for the loss of a star are 1. the imprint on the spine is noticeably off center, and 2. the stitch endings at the bottom of the back cover are rough and visible. I am having absolutely no issue with curling pages–even living in Houston.

A little painful to have to have to be not only the first review but also that it couldn’t be more positive. Another awkward situation is, I didn’t purchase this Bible for myself but my wife and me bought it as a gift for my Pastor’s wife. When I had my wife ask her about it so I could write a review, more awkward moments as it put her in a difficult place seeing it was a gift. We assured her it was ok as this is the whole purpose of the reviews. Absolutely beautiful goatskin cover, perfect size,BUT TERRIBLE CURLING PAGES! My wife took some pictures to show me and I must say there are way to many cheap Bibles available on the market that do this. I have dreamed of owning a Schuyler Bible myself for sometime, but now a hesitancy. I hope this is just a thin paper issue that will be factored in on future Schuyler decisions. PS this review in no way reflects my thinking of Evangelical Bibles.com.They themselves are an absolute top notch, highest quality, five star organization!
