I wanted to get the 1995 version of the NASB with the full set of translator notes and cross-references in a good quality print. This is it!
    Some suggestions for future improvements:
    – The very last page of each book has the best overall layout with the translator notes running across the full width of the page. I’m personally not a big fan of alternating between the left and right for these notes.
    – Red ink could also be used for verse numbers. It would make finding verses in the paragraph format easier.
    – The Foreword could be printed in the same size font as the Bible text. It’s too small now.
Otherwise, this is a perfect text block.

I’ll take one star off because in my copy the text block is misaligned. This is further emphasized by the gold gilt line. It’s clear from the unevenly cut flaps of the edge-lined binding that this Bible is hand-made. I can imagine that it is hard to cut the flaps and align the cover perfectly by hand. Perhaps the gilt line should just be dropped altogether as a feature if the installation method of the cover can’t be improved.

Overall, this is a great hand-sized NASB95 Bible.

Superb. Magnificent. Gorgeous. You pick one and I’ll roll with it. This Schuyler Bible is currently the standard by which I’ll be judging all other Bibles. Inside and out, the attention to detail is excellent. Any time I receive a Bible, new or used, the very first thing I do (after praying with it in hand) is carefully flip through every page looking for any spot or blemish. (They don’t always constitute a “fail”. I just note them for future purchasing considerations.) This Bible not only passed with flying colors (“flawless”), but with each page turned my smile just got wider. The line matching in my copy is pretty spot-on. Additionally, for 28gsm paper, this is some of the nicest Bible paper I’ve encountered. I have study Bibles with thicker paper that have ghosting wheras this Schuyler barely has any. The paper also feels “softer” (can I say “buttery”) than most other Bibles I own as well. Look, this Bible is just luxury inside and out. If you want a Bible that honors the beauty of God’s Word by being beautiful itself, you cannot go wrong with Schuyler. (I’d even add that so many other publishers in recent years have started cutting corners, even on things like no longer sewing their bindings, that I actually view this as a “justifiable purchase” for anyone who spends time daily in the Word and has issues with lesser quality Bibles.)

It was a little smaller than I expected but this makes it easier to carry and the font size seems easy to read as well. I wanted the bigger size but got this because the expected delivery date was more sooner and I am not disappointed.

My NASB PSQ Schuyler Bible in Imperial Blue color looks amazing and it’s the perfect size for reading anywhere. Its font type and font size are pleasant in the eyes. If I can bring only one Bible, then, this is it. I highly recommend this Schuyler PQS.

Just got my new companion, the personal size nasb.
Its great. Such a nicer size to take with me on the go. Church, travel, etc. Its what I’ve been looking for and on the edge of my seat waiting for two years.
Thank you. Its wonderful and no less than the full size. Goar skin is a bit more supple, fits in the hand great.
Perfect size for church or travel.
Print is larger than the pitt and minion.
Its perfect. 10 out of 10.
    I love it.

I bought this NASB Bible over a year and a half ago from Evangelicalbible.com. Then they sold out and removed this page before I could write my review. Now that it’s coming back, I’m delighted to give a review. I love this Bible. It is a fantastic every day carry Bible. I keep mine in the box, and it’s like Christmas every time I get it out. Not much space for notes in margins around the text. But the blank pages in the back are great for collecting and writing your thoughts.

Excellent print quality, very high quality paper, superb craftsmanship on the imperial blue leather binding. The blue under silver art gilding is very impressive. The font size is perfect. Not too small. The Jerusalem cross is a beautiful addition on the cover.

It is a joy to look at, a joy to hold, and an absolute pleasure to read. It invites you into text every time you open it. It is an excellent presentation of the word of God.

  7. Lee Jones

A spectacular achievement. Excellent binding, quality leather, a gorgeous spine and Jerusalem Cross on the cover. The text is superbly readable while the Bible itself is easily portable. I think Schuyler has the best ribbons in the premium Bible business.

  8. Stephen Earnest

I received my bible a little over 2 months ago and I have to say it is very nice just what I expected from Schuyler. The goatskin is superb with the usual great leather smell. The overall size of the Bible was smaller than I expected, which is not a bad thing, but just not what I expected. However, the readability of the font is very clear and it stands out clearly on the page. It might be difficult for some to read in poor lighting.
It is easy to hold and reads much like a paperback novel. It will not replace my Schuyler Quentel NKJV as my go to bible, but I am enjoying it as nightly reader.

  9. Christopher Lewis

Wow! Just…Wow! I will be upfront and admit that Nasb is not my translation of choice. I’m more of a KJV and ESV guy. However, this bible may be the best bible I own! Its very easy to hold in hand. My cover has amazing grain and the print is extremely readable with line matching. I cannot wait until Schuyler comes out with a personal KJV and ESV. If your translation is NASB, you owe it to yourself to have this bible. I own or have owned a ton of high end bibles. This one leaves me speechless except for this review.lol. Don’t hesitate. Get it while its available. You won’t regret it!
