My daughter received the firebrick red CSB today and it’s absolutely beautiful! The color is a “brick red” and is not even close to my the color of my burgundy Schuyler ESV. Maybe colors vary from Bible to Bible but I’d be over the moon to have this Bible!

I received my Firebrick Red CSB Quentel yesterday and I am in Love! It is beautiful and the size 11 font is perfect for reading. The bible is expensive but so worth the price as it will last a lifetime. The only improvement I can think of would be single column text with size 11 font. I hope this is considered in the future.

I agree with Roy Browning when he states that the Schuyler Quentel Firebrick Red Goatskin Bible, “However, the image of the Bible on the website showed a bright red Bible with blue ribbons. In actuality the Bible is more of a dark red, almost burgundy, color.”. So true!
I bought the KJV version and even though it’s beautiful and of great quality I am a bit disappointed it’s not the red color I was looking for. I have been searching for a bright red KJV and this one is not. Very misleading photos. My search will go on, so in the meantime, until the right red comes along I’ll continue to enjoy reading from my burgundy KJV because it is still God’s Word. 🙂 Hopefully, in the future, we will see a KJV bright red and with verse by verse format!!! 😉

I purchased this Bible for my wife after looking for just the right one for a number of months. The quality of the Bible is exceptional and I have bought the same Bible for other members in my family. However, the image of the Bible on the website showed a bright red Bible with blue ribbons. In actuality the Bible is more of a dark red, almost burgundy, color. Had I known this was going to be the color, I would not have ordered it. Again, the quality of the Bible is exceptional. However the image on the website is not representative of the actual color.

I absolutely love this Bible! The quality is unbelievable, and I’m just amazed at how Schuyler incorporates great materials from around the world in their various editions. From the leathers floppies, the grain, raised hubs, stitched liners, corner work—I’m a newbie no doubt, but man is this thing put together beautifully. If I could afford it I’d have every translation offered in a Quentel. The firebrick red is beautiful and just looks perfect sitting next to my premium edition of the 2019 book of common prayer in a very close color. The blue under silver is incredible. I never thought I’d want a red Bible, but fell in love with it along with the blue color scheme…wow! If I could afford it I’d have a copy of every edition offered in this color scheme. Seems kind of silly since most of my reading is done in Logos because I jump around translations, but hey I guess a Bible collection isn’t the worst vice. The only downside for me personally is the size of the full Quentel feels a little big for an everyday carry Bible (I do still have one with me usually), and my ESV PSQ is hard for me to read if the lighting is not really bright. I hope there is eventually a midsize Quentel. Other than that this is my favorite Bible ever purchased!
