The perfect size… like it better than the normal size Quentel …not enough bleed through to matter…still much more opaque than most bibles…a. Little darker than pictured. Between the personal size and the regular size this might be the perfect one of them all!!!

Schuyler has definitely become one of my favorite premium Bibles. The Thinline Quentel is a nice addition to their solid line up of Bibles. The craftsmanship, size, sleekness, and supple leather of the new Thinline Quentel has exceeded my expectations.

If you are like me, then this is truly your first high quality Bible. I do have a leather Cambridge, but it is nothing in comparison. I have always had trouble reading my Cambridge because of the small print (even with my glasses). This one is no problem. Nice large, clear print makes reading enjoyable. Evangelical Bible gives a thorough description of everything needed to know about their Bibles. So read them carefully and look through all the pictures so that you can make an informed decision. There are 12 maps in the back of the Bible with an index to the maps. 23 lined pages for notes. No subject index, but there are a lot of cross references at the bottom of each page. Translation notes are at the bottom left side of the left page and the bottom right side of the right page. Total of 1642 pages. Each book of the Bible begins on its own page. For example, Genesis concludes on one page and Exodus starts on the next page even if there is a lot of space left at the conclusion of the specified book. This thin line Schuyler has a nice deep red cover with three long gold ribbons. Reasons to purchase a high quality Bible are many and different with each individual. For me…. during study and preparation of lessons, I tend to go through one to three cheap Bibles per year. A cheap Bible won’t take the stress of opening it and flipping through it numerous times per day. If your pastor is in need of a good Bible, then this one makes the perfect gift. Even if I can keep this Schuyler for three years, it will have saved me several hundreds of dollars. Right now I have six certain Study Bibles in my basement that have been re-glued numerous times. With goat skin, leather lined, and thick end papers, this Bible should stay together much better and for a very long time. To me it is the perfect size for daily study/reading and for use in the pulpit/Bible study. Have a Blessed day!

It amazes me that Schuyler managed to fit a Quentel into a thin profile, but they did it! With a very soft and supple goatskin cover, and beautifully done text block which is such a pleasure to read, and, the thin line NAS Q is perfect in size for travel and to hold in hand. This particular model is Antique Marble Brown and is beautiful with just enough dark contrast to make the marble effect and not have any clash to color at all. For women, I find this is a much easier Quentel to carry and hold v.s. the regular sized Quentel.

I received this bible as a replacement for one I had ordered (a different brand) that arrived with a defect. Frankly, I was just looking for a quality NASB. Well, let me be clear; this is a quality NASB and then some. This should have been the bible that I ordered in the first place. It is beautiful. The marble brown color is amazing. More importantly it is exactly the right size for me. I can use it to read or for teaching or in the pulpit for preaching. I own other Schuyler bibles but this is the most versatile size in my opinion. It was worth the money and worth the wait. I hope Schuyler will make the ESV in this configuration as well.

I’ve had several premiums NASB bibles, and this one is the best. It has excellent paper, a great binding, and all the NASB translation notes. I recommend this over any other NASB bible on the market. Also, Evangelicalbible.com has the best service. They will take care of you.

The Schuyler Quintel format is the best! (IMHO) As EvangelicalBible noted, the goatskin is a little more floppy than other editions of the Quintel and although I prefer the stiffness of the ESV and NASB Quintels the Thinline still feels great and isn’t so floppy as to make it difficult to read when in hand. As in the other versions the font size is very readable and although the paper is a little thinner I do not find it distracting nor too thin for reading. I can easily read in lower light at church. It does not have a concordance but I have missed it only a couple times. The trade-off for thickness is well worth it.

Excellent bible, check out my online review on YouTube under my name, Anthony Caputi.

Softest and most readable Bible I’ve ever owned.

The cross references at the bottom make the two column format seem much easier to read. This was the main reason I chose the Schuyler Thinline Quentel over the Allan Readers Edition.

Thanks Schuyler for making a great product! If only dark green goatskin was available!
