This Bible is absolutely stunning! It is everything I was hoping for. It feels so much like my Allan Reader. I even got out the Allan and compared them side by side. Other than that famous Allan yapp, and the cool ridges on the spine of the Quentel, it would be very hard to tell them apart by touch alone.

The British Tan is beautiful and I’m so glad I picked it. It makes me think of trekking through the woods and wading through streams in leather boots and a backpack on my back. Praising God in the center of nature.

That font is stunning! I need large print and between the 11 point font combined with that great layout… this Bible is so easy to read. The Allan Reader has 10 point font, which would normally be pretty close to the same. But with the Quentel layout, it makes a huge difference in readability. I love the maps too. There are lots of them, and there is even a map index. That was unexpected. Plus a chart of the Kings and Prophets of Israel and Judah. Cool, I’ve been wanting one of those! Now it’s handily in my Bible! The lined notepaper looks good, and we still have the heavier plain paper in the back that we see in the bigger Quentel.

All in all, I am so delighted with my new Schuyler Thinline Quentel NASB! This is definitely going to be my most cherished Bible.

Where is the 6-Star option?! With this product, Schuyler has fundamentally changed the premium Bible market. They have raised the bar substantially and it will be excited to see how Allan, Cambridge, and Crossway respond. The Bible, with its 11-point font and paragraph layout, is extremely easy to read and it, very quickly, has become my daily reading Bible. Perimeter stitching, 3 ribbons, and leather linings, make the choice easy if you are looking for premium Bible. You cannot go wrong with any selection. Order soon before they are no longer available.

Schuyler does it again! I have waited anxiously for each edition of the Quentel NASB and have loved each one. Even though the brick is huge, I still love the weight of the paper and the ease of turning the pages. The second edition was kind of a wash for me because the slight size reduction didn’t quite make up for the thinner paper (many will disagree, I’m sure). The PSQ was perfect for portability and its dimensions suited my hand better than the Clarion, although I can read the Clarion’s font a little easier and I do love a concordance. Funny the little things you pay attention as you continue your pursuit…

I purchased the Thinline in British Tan and Red (I can’t resist the red). Both are exquisite. The new flexible binding is perfect for this edition. In every other regard it is the same as the PSQ. The paper is lovely – thin and silky, but no annoying ghosting, and the pages are fairly easy to turn. I probably won’t be carrying this one to church until my eyes cannot read the PSQ, but this one is definitely more portable than the first or second edition. I highly recommend the Thinline to anyone who might be hesitating!

Schuyler seems to make adjustments for each edition that result in a more beautiful bible every time. Just when I think I’ve finished my quest, a new one appears on the horizon! If an edition is published in a size between the Thinline and the PSQ (with a concordance, please), I’ll buy more..
