This Bible is beautiful and amazing to me as someone who has collected premium Bibles for over 5 years:

First regarding the color: The green is a slightly deeper, darker forest green color than these photos show when in normal indoor lighting. That said, this Bible did not disappoint when it arrived and looked at least as good as the photos depict, and the paper – wow!

The weight and size of the paper just make it feel different in a way that grabs my attention. While wide margin Bibles like this are generally intended for note-taking, I almost feel obligated to leave the margins empty as they function like the giant space between paper-edge and text found in illuminated Bibles from hundreds of years ago – the margins frame the text as if to say that the text is so holy and important and beautiful that it requires giant blank-space frames around it.
Now the inside corners of the leather cover are disappointingly cut rather than folded (like in the full-yapp Schuyler Bibles), even though the amount of leather yapp present on this Bible would normally be considered nearly full yapp for a thinner Bible. Still, the corner work is really well done despite this. The goatskin leather has a slightly soft feel rather than the often “dry” or rough feel I find with most goatskin leathers.

This Bible is a hefty beast though, so don’t think you’ll be carrying it around everywhere. Nonetheless the beauty of it and the tactile experience of it will make you want to pick it up and carry it with you anyhow.
The text jumps off of the page being highly readable for the font size, even though the font is only slightly bigger than the older personal size quentel font size of 8.5pt.

I normally prefer single column Bibles, but the handling, appearance, and reading experience I have had with this Bible (along with other Schuyler double-columns) may have just converted me to the two column camp. If every publisher did double column the way Schuyler does, I may never have sought out single column formats. Honestly – it is just so readable!
Overall I highly recommend this Bible.

This Bible is awesome! This was a really big purchase for me, and I waited for months before I pulled the trigger, but for a guy with typical buyers remorse, I had none when it arrived. I wanted a Bible that I could turn into my own Study Bible, and Lord willing, hand down to my son when he gets older. I believe this is the one that I can do that with. No offense to the other great premium Bibles, but this is the best! Thanks Schuyler and Evangelical Bible for this masterpiece of God’s Word.

This is absolutely the most magnificent Bible I have ever seen!

Every single detail is high quality, thoughtfully designed, and feels just luscious.

The pages are such a wonderful weight, extra opaque, easy to read, and feel smoother than anything I can even think of to describe.
    – Like water under my fingertips.

The Maps are the most beautiful quality and the kind you just want to pour over.

    The thickness is substantial,
    and I love that.
This is a Bible that feels sturdy enough to be used daily… for life.
    (And that is my plan!)
It also has such a beautiful quality, that I feel like it inspires the awe that is due the Word of God when you open it and dive in.

It’s hard to find the words to describe it adequately…
but I sure am thrilled with mine!

I can’t think of a more worthy investment, and haven’t seen a premium Bible that compares in my opinion.

    This Bible is exquisite.
