Navy Blue SILVER LINE edition leather-lined in natural grain Meriva calfskin.
The KJV Brevier Clarendon Bible is a vintage Authorized/King James Version reference edition, developed by Oxford University Press and now published exclusively by R. L. Allan. This Wide Margin edition is particularly prized – its substantial margins and writeable paper, with the highest levels of opacity, combined with the bold, clear type of the Brevier Clarendon typesetting, make it the ideal Bible for intensive study and notetaking.
The 5WM is printed on PrimaBible 45gsm paper with superb writeability characteristics so as to maximize the benefit of the 1.5 inch outer/inner margins (1 inch at top and bottom).
This attractive Navy Blue Silver Line edition of the 5WM is bound in Navy Blue natural grain goatskin with generous yapp and silver embossing, leather-lined in dark blue natural grain Meriva calfskin, with silver gilt line inside, hand-pleated corners and double-sprayed blue under silver page edges, three silver-grey ribbon markers, and includes our 8pp Allan presentation pages and family record, 16 pages of full-colour Oxford Bible maps and 32 pages of Allan feint rule notepaper.

Travis –
The binding and cover of this Bible are excellent and the wide margins are fantastic. I couldn’t be more pleased in that regard.
Why only 2 stars? I have had this Bible long enough to read through twice and the print quality is not good. For example, this morning I read Mark 12:33 “…and to love his neighbor…” Here, the “t” in “to” was misprinted, making it appear as either “io” or an accented lowercase omega. Further, the footnote reference symbols (i.e., letters and numbers) are often very difficult or impossible to discern. They are so small that the ink has bled together into an indiscernable blob leaving me to guess what the reference is supposed to be. I have even taken a picture and zoomed in just to confirm that the print is the culprit and not failing eyesight.
Granted, these problems are not on every page. I only read about 5 – 10 pages per day and I encounter these issues every other day or so. Further, I have never been unable to figure out what what the text says (footnote references are a different story). However, this is the only book I have that has such issues, hence the low rating.
