About Us
EvangelicalBible.com was started in 2004 in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has since become the marketplace for high quality Bibles worldwide. The founder, Sky Cline was a church planter who needed income while starting a church that ministered to a low income population. EvangelicalBible.com has grown exponentially over the past 20 years. The founder is still planting churches and is supporting young evangelical churches in unreached people group areas of the world. Our company has never lost its vision for His Kingdom to be established through partnering with churches in the US and assisting church planting where the gospel has yet to be heralded.
Of course our “featured product” is the Bible, “breathed out by God” to demonstrate Truth and to make man “wise unto salvation.” We consider this book to be sacred as it contains God’s Words and therefore the standard by which all reason, experience and tradition must be validated.
“The supreme judge by which all controversies of religion are to be determined, and all decrees of councils, opinions of ancient writers, doctrines of men, and private spirits, are to be examined, and in whose sentence we are to rest, can be no other but the Holy Spirit speaking in the Scripture.” —Westminster Confession of Faith, Article on Holy Scripture
There has never been a time in our nation’s history where the light of God’s Word has been more needed than today. Though a host of spiritual forces are arrayed against the Truth in our day, our firm belief is that though “heaven and earth will pass away, God’s Words will never pass away.”
Because the Bible is God’s Word, we implore its readers to believe, obey and stand in awe of its message. It tells of the only hope of mankind through the death and resurrection of the Messiah Jesus, as well as the certain doom of sinners who have not been cleansed of the bitter poison of sin, its lethal corruption, and eternal consequences. To that end we pray you meet the Person to whom all Scripture intends to make known:
“In this book you find the swaddling clothes and the manger in which Christ lies, and to which the angel directs the shepherds. Those swaddling clothes are shabby and poor, yet precious is the treasure wrapped in them, for it is Christ.” —Martin Luther, 1545
