This is a great bible. There are also areas for improvement. In this review I will discuss the good things and give feedback on things that could be better.
This Bible is great overall. The leather is amazing and premium and the quality of materials are top notch. I think this is one of the best premium bibles on the market. However, I do think improvements in craftsmanship can be made.
Printing
There are several pages throughout the Bible that have ink that is noticeably faded. Who ever prints the words on the pages don’t seem to have a standard for printing that matches the price point of the Bible. I’ve seen far cheaper bibles that have exceptional printing of ink with no fading. It seems like the ink in the machine runs too low before they put more ink in. This results in words or numbers being faded in certain areas. Not to mention several areas where it seems that ink has been caked on certain words. It leaves it smudgy although it’s still readable. I expected a higher standard especially because of the price of this Bible. I noticed this on several Schuyler bibles not just one.
Stitching
The stitching of the cover where the stitching ended is exposed. Again I’ve seen far cheaper bibles that don’t have this issue. I’ve also seen some Schuyler bibles that didn’t have exposed stitching so I know it’s possible.
Ribbons
In the process of shopping around for the right Bible I received 2 bibles that had pinched or crimped ribbons. They wouldn’t lay flat. They were installed in such a way where they were glued to the text block in a pinched way.
I know these are handmade bibles but I believe the craftsmanship could improve or the quality standards be improved. Especially because of the premium price of the Bible.
This is just genuine feedback that I hope would be taken into account to create an exceptional Bible. I believe these are the best premium bibles on the market but they could still be improved in quality.
I think improving this should be looked into instead of just saying “oh well it’s hand made so some of this may occur”. I think they could implement quality standards or give their craftsmen’s more training to help alleviate some of these concerns.

I’ll be honest, I had never heard of Schuyler until I stumbled upon a YouTube review. I live in Australia, and at first, I hesitated because it was a bit beyond my budget. However, when I discovered that they were handmade, all my doubts disappeared, and I eagerly made the purchase. I am thrilled with my choice. I ordered the personal-sized Quintel NKJV with a full yap, and when I opened it, I was truly amazed. Schyler has done an exceptional job, and the handcrafted quality exudes a touch of magic. Oh, and the scent is absolutely divine. Honestly, it’s the perfect Bible.

A good bible, wonderful leather, but the Jerusalem Cross is very distracting. It’s not centered. I hope Schuyler will return to its older design, plain covers with no Jerusalem cross.

Just received my first NKJV PSQ Full Yapp in black goatskin two days ago. I actually received it sooner than expected. This has been the second time ordering from Evangelical Bible and time has been a great experience.
This Bible, being a personal sized Bible, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be too small but the size is perfect. Print is easy to read. Of course the quality of the binding and the paper are phenomenal! Keep up the amazing job you are doing! Now saving up for the Blue KJV PSC and Blue KJV Canterbury.
