Easily the best premium bible published on the market. The sapphire blue is a wonderful rich blue similar to a dawn/dusk sky with a dim sun. The calf skin is a wrinkle texture bringing in the lighter highlights in contrast. The page design/decoration is very tasteful and comfortable. The full yapp is a great trend I hope stays around, so nice to help the pages stay protected. Something I didn’t know about is the generous concordance in the back. It’s a larger one, and I’m happy to have that.
If you are new to Schuyler, there is no other publisher that compares in my opinion. Many are in the same price range, but they are not in the same quality level. Schuyler has the best corner work on the covers, the liner is a one piece leather, no short cuts.
This Sapphire Blue NLT may be my favorite Schuyler publication. I would like to see a special publication from them with intros, outlines, Christ highlighted, maybe large print. I believe it would be a forever favorite of the public.
