I had been on a quest to find my ideal bible. When I heard about the Schuyler Quentel series launch I contacted Evangelical Bible in 2013 to ask about the possibility of a NKJV printing. They said they planned to print a NKJV. Well, that happened in 2016. I’v had the bible for 10 years now. I truly appreciate having this printing. I had used my beloved R L Allan NKJV for the previous 10 years.
While it seems expensive, the Schuyler Quentel NKJV Full Yapp Black Goatskin is the best printing of the NKJV I know of. The leather binding is magnificent – I like that it is perimeter-stitched too; the inner cover leather is supple; the paper is perfect; the show through is very acceptable and lined-up text helps a lot. Ribbons are high quality; weight is fine; I really appreciate the larger typesetting for my 50-something your old eyes; I’ve come to enjoy larger yapp bibles while I walk to the nearby chapel (it’s protective). The type design is masterful. I was a Graphic Designer and I’ve designed many books; I have a high regard for this printing; it’s brilliant. I like the typesetting choices of how references are placed and columns work, it makes for excellent focus on the actual text and reading flow. One thing I miss just a little is a traditional description paragraph at the front of each book of the bible.
The greatest praise I can give this printing is that I enjoy holding it and reading it. I find myself continuing to hold it after reading while I’m praying; it has become a close friend in my spiritual journey. Thank you Evangelical Bible for respecting and cherishing God’s Word.

I purchased this Bible a little over a year ago. What can I say? This is a fantastic Bible! Regarding quality, it’s everything it is advertised to be. The print size is very good. I wear glasses and have zero trouble reading the text, and by that I mean that the text is plenty big enough… nowhere close to being too small.
THE THING THAT IMPRESSES ME MOST: This Bible goes places with me; I bring it with me when I go to church. Two or three times now, my Bible slid off the truck seat and onto the floor board. I cringed everytime it happened and I try to prevent it from happening. So, when I picked it up off the floor board, yeah… some pages were crinkled up. I just smoothed them out; let the weight of the Bible add the pressure needed to force the creases out. Guess what? Not a page has torn! The paper in this Bible is super strong, yet thin like Bible pages are supposed to be.
I highly recommend Schuyler Bibles!

I absolutely LOVE my Schuyler Quentel NKJV, Full Yapp Black Goatskin Bible!!! I have never, ever seen a Bible packaged so well! When, I opened the box there were 3 white bands surrounding the bible to prevent damage. When I opened the Bible itself it was absolutely pristine! When you turn each page they do not stick together at all. (Unlike inferior Bible that are printed in China). And, the GSM rating for page thickness is wonderful. There is minimal page ghosting. The printed line matching is amazing! I love the chapter text color, a kind of burgundy. The 3 red ribbons are quite thick compared to other Bibles. The goatskin cover is a joy to hold in your hand while reading. The first day I read the 20 chapters in Genesis. If you want a premium Bible, Schuyler is the only way to go! I plan to purchase more! There is a lot of hype around this Bible.
Based on the reviews from many YouTube Bible reviewers this Bible was supposed to be ultra premium. I will admit I like the paper and the yapp. The feel and opacity of the paper is great. The yapp is a nice addition. I was really expecting more from the cover. I received it with a slight diagonal crease in the middle of the cover. I really expected more from a premium Bible.
The print is clear and readable. There are beautiful red accents throughout the pages. It was a big decision to make this purchase for myself and I’m not entirely sure I made the right decision. In future purchases I will make sure I get an opportunity to personally handle the Bible. I’m not sure I am a Schuyler fan boy as much as everyone else.

This is a magnificent Bible! And while I own several full-size Quentels, this is my first Full Yapp version. It is simply beautiful! The red print is dark and clear and I have found no inconsistencies with the print anywhere! The only way to improve on these Bibles is to offer it in an 11-font in bolder print. Going bold in a 10-font won’t work for me! Please keep the 11’s going in a bit darker font. With that said, I’m very pleased with this new Bible!
