Doug Lasniewski (verified owner) –
The nicest Lockman/Foundations Pub. 1995 I have ever seen. The bindings, in the past, have always looked somewhat cheap until this goat skin production (not printed in China). Very high quality. And finally, two instead of one (pathetic) ribbon. I would appreciate three.
The side references are no longer separated by a vertical line from the text. This has always been a SCR feature since the ’70’s. The letter references and the numbered notes/alternate words are separated in the outside margins instead of being together for each verse in those margins. That will take some getting used to.
Regardless what description is included as to there being a concordance, there isn’t one, despite being told to the contrary when I asked by phone an Evangelical Bible person this exact question. There is a topical index instead. That will no longer allow me to find a verse by looking up a remembered key word. A negative for me and the reason for a deducted star. But the topic index will be amusing to explore.
If you will enjoy a topical index over a concordance, this is definitely five stars.
