Since 2018 I have purchased four bibles from EV Bible. They are:
-Quentel ESV, Black letter text, Dark Brown Goatskin
-Cambridge KJV Turquoise, Brown Goatskin
-Quentel NKJV, Antique Marble Brown Goatskin
-Lastly, as of a couple of weeks ago Canterbury KJV, Full yapp, Black Goatskin
This is my take on the Canterbury.
I very much like:
-The text is KJV
-The text is PCE (Pure Cambridge Edition)
-The build is excellent
-The customer service at EV Bible is awesome.
What is lacking:
-The Translator notes missing that most older KJV’s contain (I know, the notes do not save you)
-I do not need the 15 or so lined pages (leave that to the Wide-margin version)
-There are a couple of maps that take up two pages going way into the gutter (add some space)
-Darker fonts (just a little bit more)
-Larger font size for the concordance text entries (I feel like Mr. Magoo attempting to read them) –
-Perhaps remove the lined pages and increase the concordance font size which will add some more pages
What I didn’t like:
-My FedEx order went to Maryland where it was delayed a few days due to weather conditions

This is a truly beautiful bible. Quality is superb, large print is easy to read. I do wish the black were a bit darker, more bold perhaps, but overall a fantastic bible. I’m very pleased with my purchase, and the shipping was lightening fast. Thank you. Grace and peace

Definitely a fantastic bible! It’s one of the most beautiful and easiest to read as far as legibility I’ve seen!! I love the Canterbury and have a couple in my collection. The full yap is nice , although I would like to see it just a tad fuller like the Allan bibles. All in all it is a wonderful addition for any collector, or for someone who just wants a very high-quality and gorgeous Bible to hold and read! There’s just nothing like the Canterbury!

Absolutely beautiful as expected. I feel like I’ve gotten the bible that will stay with my family for generations. The quality of these materials used my schuyler in the Netherlands is very impressive and this is a flawless example. Just a joy to pick up and read this bible all around. Text is sharp and clean, the drop caps are pretty and add a nice touch, the cross reference system at the bottom is interesting and different and I love how psalms is printed in single column. The maps are very useful as they are not just a map with a header, there are tools to work your way in and see what events took place where. Highly recommend and I plan to get another personal size as well as gift bibles for friends and family!
