If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Get it, you won’t regret it. I have other premium bibles from other brands which are also of exceptional quality but there’s something different about Schulyer. The others are more old school and classical which can be nice but Schuyler has a way of modernizing in a classy way that feels like it will maintain that classical look years from years to come. The quality is outstanding and I can’t speak highly enough. I’d buy it again. Top quality materials and assembly, what else needs to be said?

This afternoon 9/25/2026 I received my Schuyler Personal Size Canterbury KJV, Full Yapp Desert Camel Calfskin Bible. The quality and workmanship is outstanding. The cover that is made in Germany is one of the best I have seen. I own Allen, Cambridge, Bible Church Publishers, and 3 Sixteen Publishing Bibles, and their covers can’t compare. The Desert Camel is quite unique. They are all high quality Bibles, but I really like this personal sized Canterbury, it’s very readable and uses high quality paper. The paper is 28 GSM which is a little thinner than what I am use to, but I do not typically write in my Bible, only highlight with a dry marker that does not bleed through. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Remarkable… what more can I say?
This personal-size Canterbury feels like a love letter to Holy Scripture, made with reverence, not just craftsmanship. The KJV already shines like a sword, this binding and layout make it even easier to stay in the fight and stay in the Word. It’s a joy to hold, and even more a joy to read! The design doesn’t compete with the KJV, It respects it, it serves it, beautifully. And the more time you spend in it, the more you realize an old truth, a Bible doesn’t just fit in your hand… it reshapes your heart. The living Word truly comes alive page by page!

This is a nice and handy size with large enough print to make it an easy choice for daily reading. Very high quality with smooth calfskin which has become my preference in cover leather in these Bibles. It is my current daily and handy use reading Bible at this time. When I finish it I expect to read through the other formats as well.

Tremendous! Like having ordered a burrito – just more expensive, but worth every penny 😀 Big compliment, Schuyler Bible!
