The Schuyler Personal Size Quentel ESV is based on the Quentel Series, which is available in the ESV, NKJV, NASB, NIV, CSB, RSV, and NLT. This edition is designed to be a ‘personal size’ companion to the regular sized Quentel since it is identical in pagination. These Bibles are printed and bound by Jongbloed in the Netherlands, and the covers are made in Germany.

I have purchased seven Schuyler Bibles in the past three years and am completely satisfied with every one. The ESV personal size is my favorite. It is the perfect size for taking to church or Bible studies. The margins are wide enough for notes and the Uni-Ball One pens I use for marking and underlining have never bled through. The 8.5 font is large enough to read easily and I love the two column page setting. After two years of using this Bible daily the cover is very soft and is aging beautifully. I have given two of the NASB Quentel’s as gifts and both recipients told me it was the most beautiful book they have ever held. I would highly recommend Schuyler Bibles, they are well worth the cost.

This is an exquisite bible. First-class workmanship. The marbled mahogany colour is simply gorgeous, and the calf- skin leather soft and pliable. I love the full yapp. The print is crystal-clear on soft-white paper, so easy on the eyes. Perfect for taking to church. I am so glad I bought this bible, absolutely delighted!

What to say anymore. This is my 4th Schuyler Bible in a fairly short time (2-3 yrs) – each one serves a purpose. I have the Canterbury KJV FY, Treveris KJV and ESV, now this ESV PSQ. My pastor preaches from NIV (plans to switch to ESV) – but for personal study, I have settled over time on these 2 translations.
I thank God for this company. I don’t intend to be a collector, but a reader & studier of the Word. I ordered a cover/case that will arrive today. I live in the NW – so rain is an issue much of the year.
The ESV PSQ here will be my primary Bible for study, reading & travel. I have a couple Schuyler journals – not one to match this Bible yet. That will be my next order.
I understand that this is my newest Bible, so saying it’s my favorite may not carry much weight here. That said, it’s my favorite- hands down. I’ll use the reader Treveris when I want fewer distractions and single column – but this PSQ is to easy to pick up & I find references, etc less distracting than say …the full size Canterbury.
Everything about this Bible is perfect. I even like 2 ribbons. I know where to find Psalms/Proverbs (what I use a 3rd ribbon for)
This is my favorite color of all. The full Yapp is mandatory. God Bless this company and Schuyler.
Of all the items & dinner out, hotel stays, etc, etc….this is the best $ spent on anything that isn’t charity for Kingdom work.
Buy the PSQ – the game changer of them all. Can’t wait to travel with it.

Got my first Schuyler (I have a few Allans) and I believe the Personal Size model is perfect for travelling or taking to Church etc because of its size and weight. The balance between size and readability and page thickness is spot on. The text is still very readable and the overall quality is perfect. I would highly recommend this Bible.
