Love just about everything about this Bible. After purchasing the Personal Size in this olive green I saved up for the full size. Loved the color so much I bought the same! It is simply exquisite, and the inside layout is every bit as elegant. I think the updated design with the 10pt font was a major improvement for a few reasons: 1. Overall readability, for me, is improved, the font being slightly smaller but bolder. 2. The new font means more words per line which improves readability. 3. The new layout results in a slightly thinner block than the previous which for me makes a major difference in my hands. My one disappointment is the smaller verse numbers. I know it was a readability decision, yet it wouldn’t have been my decision. This is a reference edition, not a true readers Bible (although it functions well as such). Easily locating verses is helpful to me.

Believe it or not I actually bought a second one of these Bibles and gave it to my old youth leader. After fishing for information for a month I discovered he was in love with my very own Schuyler Bible. Surprisingly the cover of his Bible was even more beautiful than my own. We laughed as he opened it up and compared. I don’t know if there is a more beautiful cover and color way than this option. I highly recommend to anyone that is green with envy.

I have been blessed to have handled many premium Bibles in the last two years and this Bible is my very favorite. To start with the color way is absolutely magnificent. The Olive Green cover with Dark Brown liner is outstanding. The craftmanship of this Schuyler Bible is top notch as well but I assume you already know that. The drop caps on this Bible are stunning. Most of all the smell and feel of the leather is out of this world. The Chestnut Brown, the Desert Camel and the Olive Green calfskin all have a similar texture. Comfortable handling and a delightful grip provide the perfect Bible reading experience. If green is your color and you want a Bible thats quality is on another level, this is the Bible for you.
