I recently purchased this Bible for my dear friend as a pastor appreciation gifts. I needed a Bible with an explosive class that matched his personality. The Tuscany leather did not disappoint! Last December my church bought the Tuscany PSQ and matching journal so I knew what I was getting but wow. The character and personality of this leather makes no two Bibles exactly alike. If you want a high class, a little bit eccentric, but beautiful Bible. Get the Tuscany leather cover. It’s going to standout from across the sanctuary as the most dynamic Bible in the church!

Wow. This Tuscany aniline leather edition is stunning. Smooth and soft. It’s lovely to hold and smells wonderful. I was a little concerned that it might be too orange but I needn’t have worried. It is beautiful. As stated, it will show marks and scratches over time as it is used and will just enhance its character and make it unique to you. Well done Schuyler on a great edition.

Schuyler Bibles are very, very well made. Every detail is meticulously executed. This Bible is full yapp. The leather is thick but flexible. “Aniline leather has the distinction of being one of the most sought-after leathers due to its high quality and appearance. It develops a patina over time by absorbing body oils and contact with the skin. It is both soft and supple due to the lack of extra processing and coatings“ (bestleather.org). I own several Schuyler bibles and just when I say “this is the last one I’ll ever want, they come out with a full yapp Aniline bible. This is probably not your EDC (every day carry) bible. You could carry it everywhere however, this is one that you would most likely want to use for personal reading, study, and perhaps as a preaching bible. Make no mistake , this is definitely a forever bible. Do some research on aniline leather before purchasing because this is probably the best type of leather you can buy. It doesn’t have a “finish” on it and that’s a good thing because you’ll notice the grain in the leather is more pronounced. The more of a finish the leather has, the less pronounced the grain will be. This is as close to raw leather that you’re going to be without purchasing raw leather. This smells sooo good. And it looks even better!
