Absolutely thrilled with my new SQESV/A Desert Camel bible. Even with the very poor exchange rate (USD to CAD) plus duty and express shipping costs making this bar none the most expensive bible investment by a long shot – I am thrilled.
In every way the craftsmanship, quality of the materials and attention to detail wildly surpasses any “premium” bible I’ve owned. Every claim made by EvBible about the features and quality of the bible are 100% accurate. You can easily read those for yourself but I would like to note something that text and photos cannot do justice to and that is the soft yet wonderfully textured feel of the grain in the leather. It feels amazing in-hand.
Honestly, I do not understand the endless collecting of premium bibles but I absolutely do understand the high value of having a bible that you truly want to return to daily because of its physical properties. The Word is what is most important, of course. But when you have that Word in a form factor this glorious, well…
I genuinely do not see the need to buy another bible between now and Glory. With affection I have named this luxury beast, The Camel and it is a “lifer” for me.
