I was blown away when I first handled this Bible upon arrival. Is is incredibly beautiful. I had high expectations, and with most things I buy online without seeing I am usually disappointed, but this was the opposite. It was much nicer than I had expected. The craftsmanship is top notch. There is so much attention to detail in design, materials and execution. I expected that my cover would look much different than the photo, but It is very similar. It is so full of life. The Blue leather and marbling is gorgeous and the full yapp feels nice in hand. It feels slick in hand and has a wonderful texture.
The text layout is just about perfect. The NASB95 is my favorite Bible version. My former favorite Bible was the Cambridge Clarion NASB95. The Quentel does an incredible job handling the footnotes and references without cluttering the text, unlike the Clarion. This is very important with the NASB95 as it has so many footnotes. I love the way that the footnote numbers start over each page and that they are in a separate section from the references. They also reuse a footnote number if the footnote text is duplicated on the page which helps to keep things clear as I read and avoids clutter.
The paper feels excellent, the text is so crisp and large. I love the blue framing from the cover and the blue die on the page edges. The Bible feels so nice in hand and smells wonderful. It is nice to have something that was so well done and so well thought out. It really is incredible.
The only thing I would change is the references. In another Bible I have the references don’t have a letter in the text, instead there are just verse numbers in the references column. This makes the references less precise to words in the verse, but I find this a great trade off as I don’t use references often and love the removal of all the clutter. Overall I think I still prefer single column but with a bible this size double column makes sense and it still reads very well.
All in all I am so pleased with my purchase. This was my second edge-lined Bible and my first Schuyler, but I have already ordered a few more. It is wonderful to see the care and thought that was put into making this look beautiful and read so well. I feel like this Bible is a great value and I expect it to hold up well even with usage every day for the rest of my life. Now if only I could find more time to read. My hand practically crave to be holding this beautiful book.

I love the NASB 1995 with the full set of translation notes and references. Many publishers are reducing the footnotes now.
I only have two suggestions- please darken the print a little more and would love to have about ten blank note pages in the back.
Schuyler does use a very light print which is much harder for some of us to read comfortably.
Other than that, you can’t get a higher quality Bible than Schuyler!

Excellent Bible! I’d love to see them darken the font a little more in the future. Love the type setting, and type face though. The 11 point font is excellent. Overall a beautiful and very readable Bible.
