The new and updated Stridon ESV is our same popular verse-by-verse, single column layout but updated with a more opaque 36 GSM paper, substantially wider margins, and the 2025 ESV text. The slightly smaller text accommodates the wider margins while remaining very clear and legible, and bold verse numbers have been added to indicate the start of a new paragraph. Cross references and footnotes are separated at the bottom of the page for ease of use. These modifications result in a Bible that functions as a highly practical edition for note-taking and in-depth study.

The new Stridon ESV’s are exceptional in almost every way. I wondered if the extra thickness to the paper would amount to any appreciable difference. But it is significantly better (I purchased the first Stridon as well). It makes turning pages easier and better to write on. The paper actually “feels” different. It’s as if the process of making the paper has new technology behind it. The pages feel stronger. The layout is beautiful and so easy on the eyes. And the emerald goatskin is better than the pictures. I have a small suggestions for future editions. In the footnotes at the bottom, if the verses that are cited in the New Testament could be bolded, it would allow for the discovery of a natural hermeneutic to arise from the text itself as one sees how the Biblical
authors interpreted the Scriptures. I have about eight fine Bibles collected over 2 decades and this is my favourite and checks all the boxes. Absolutely beautiful!

I have been looking at getting a Schuyler for three years. This was purchased for me as a gift and it is perfect in every way. The layout is easy to read and the paper is too tier. There is plenty of room for notes and hardly any ghosting. This is a wonderful Bible that will be passed to my children someday. This Bible makes me want to spend more time with the Lord each day and makes me smile every time I grab it.
