The new and updated Stridon ESV is our same popular verse-by-verse, single column layout but updated with a more opaque 36 GSM paper, substantially wider margins, and 2025 ESV text. Here is a PDF sample. The slightly smaller text accommodates the wider margins while remaining very clear and legible, and bold verse numbers have been added to indicate the start of a new paragraph. Cross references and footnotes are separated at the bottom of the page for ease of use. These modifications result in a Bible that functions as a highly practical edition for note-taking and in-depth study.

I have been looking for a Bible that will be the one I carry for years to come. I am sure I found it!
From the unique calfskin to its wine liner, the 36 GSM paper, the new ESV update, and the single-column layout with references.
Of course, what is most important are the words in it, but I am beyond impressed when I hold this copy of Scripture.

Schuyler absolutely knocked it out of the park with the 36 gsm paper. Yes the font is smaller but not all that noticeable. The desert camel is the best of the leathers IMO.

I received this Bible yesterday and have been blown away by its quality. I have the previous Stridon and was initially concerned by the decreased font size. However, the 0.5 reduction is absolutely nothing to worry about. I love the 36 gsm paper and believe it’s creamier in color, which is a welcomed change. The binding is in a class of its own. I personally don’t find it too large for carrying. As a pastor, it will be my go-to Bible for years to come. So if you have the previous edition, I persuade you to make this purchase. It’s a worthy upgrade.

The pictures do not do this cover justice…it is a spectacular cover, and in my opinion the best layout also. Opaque paper, dark print, one reviewer said a masterpiece and he is right!!!!!!

This is a beautiful Bible. I bought it to be my counseling Bible. The line-by-line layout of the ESV makes working through passages exegetically easy. It is similar to preacher Bibles made by other publishers. I found with my other ESV, the combination of the smaller font and paragraph text style made it easy to lose my place during discussion. I like the margin on the edge that offers enough space to make notes is just enough, without adding weight and bulk to the Bible. The craftsmanship is just as you would expect for a Schuyler.
