This was given to me for Christmas (upon request). The picture does not do the calfskin leather justice. The unique black pearl is a dark almost Grey blue color. The way the pages look silver from the side but the edges turn blue when open is real neat and is a unique color combination. I really like the single column verse by verse layout for quickly finding my place and for scripture memory. I also like the readability yet authoritative wording of the NKJV. The only thing I might like different would be a slightly larger font, even if that means a thicker or slightly larger Bible. The overall quality of materials and assembly are great. Also, I like the yellow marks on one of the maps highlighting the 7 churches in Revelation as an example of the map detail.

Beautiful leather, a color pattern that I can get lost in. Great font size for a relaxed read and plenty of room to take notes. The Verse by Verse layout makes it easy to quickly find text during a bible study class.

The variation in the grain of the leather is awesome—tighter in some places and more wide in others. I love how every verse is numbered on its own line. This makes it easy to keep my place while reading and teaching. The darker gray of the leather combined with the Carolina blue of the gilt makes this my favorite Bible color-wise. Wow! What can I say? The second printing of this Bible is even better than the first. The leather and edge block, when closed, sit closer to the text block, giving it a thinner and more refined profile compared to my first print run of the Tuscany, which is now as soft and familiar as a worn baseball glove.
This Bible is wonderful and thin enough to hold comfortably in one hand while I preach. The leather is amazing, the perfect shade of gray with subtle tones of blue. It is truly beautiful to behold. Everything you know and love about a Schuyler Bible perfectly describes this one as well.
I am glad to have my third copy of this remarkable style and text block. For me, I have found my one Bible. The Stridon always knocks it out of the park. I highly recommend the Stridon even for note taking as well.

I purchased this bible (FY) in 02-2025. I was so impressed with it, I bought the Desert Camel (FY) version for my sister. We both enjoy reading from it almost every day. The 28 GSM paper is fine for me. Everything about this Bible is top quality. Handling it is a joy. I prefer the verse-by-verse format. The Stridon is a great presentation.
