It is the perfect NKJV. The Desert Camel is absolutely gorgeous. It is verse by verse, so great for preaching, but also it is amazing as just a reader too!
It has wider margins without being a wide margin, so you can easily write without the Bible being bigger and heavier than the stone tablets the 10 commandments were written on. Writing and highlighting in the Bible is great, so the 28gsm is perfect as again it means it is smaller and lighter.
Having the translation notes seperate from the cross references is amazing!
Everything about this Bible is stunning, it really does tick all the boxes for study, reading, note-taking, size and feel.
It smells great too!

Very well made should last for generations. As well made as higher priced Bibles. The text layout is easy to read and the texture of the paper is superb. The cover of the Bible is high quality and the construction is some of best that I’ve seen

This is an amazingly beautiful calfskin leather and has a different feel then my other calfskin leathers as it is not as smooth. I love the verse by verse and the paper feels like butter. I am very pleased with this Bible. It is also a nice midsized bible. Easy carry and easy to hold and read.

I absolutely love this NKJV Stridon in the Desert Camel calfskin Full Yapp. I thought it might be to Large Bible, but it’s not at ALL.
It’s strange but this Single Column Verse by Verse layout with the 10 point font, is the perfect word count and almost seems to read more like a Paragraph mode.
Apparently Schuyler has listened to their customers, and CENTERED the Jerusalem Cross to the tool line on this Full Yapp addition.
The calfskin is a little slick for my dry hands, but the grain in the Desert Camel offsets that some, and the beauty in the marbling is so worth the trade off of not getting the goatskin, which I seriously considered.

I don’t typically write product reviews. However, I just received my NKJV Stridon in desert camel and I am totally blown away! For starters, this bible found its way to me all the way in Shanghai, China where I live and work. The international shipping was super fast (about four days) and arrived perfectly sealed and undamaged. And then I unwrapped the Bible and… WOW! Rarely have I made a purchase where the hype lives up to the actual experience. It’s absolutely stunning—the leather is so soft and rich, the typesetting is superb and while the paper is thin, there isn’t a distracting amount of bleed through from backing pages. I love this bible so much I just placed an order for a personal size KJV in Sienna. Schuyler has a new lifelong customer! As does evangelicalbible.com. Bravo!
