Everything is excellent accept the thin paper. So by only if you are willing to put up with fragile paper. To me (and of course I own one) the price is too high for what would be a very lovely bible, except the thin pages that will never accept highlighting or underlining without bleeding through. I would buy a second copy if they put the 40-GSM paper in the bible. I think they used the 28GSM instead.

Like most Schuyler’s, this Bible is amazing and aesthetically pleasing. So high end. My wife has an ESV Stridon in Desert Camel so I was very interested in comparing the two colors. The difference is more subtle than you might think as they are both medium brownish. The Desert Camel has more dark-gold tones while the Sandstone leans more grey-taupe and is just a bit lighter in color overall. Both are SO gorgeous – she loves hers, I love mine. The interior layout is easy to preach from (finding verses is a breeze) but just a bit clunky for extended reading and somewhat cumbersome in the hands.

I have almost every color Schuyler Bible that is offered and the sandstone is by far my new favorite. The combination of ribbon choice and texture in the lighter color is truly beautiful.
