This is my favorite bible for reading. The 10 point font size is perfect and the type is outstanding. (Line Matched)The red letter is exceptional and the best I have ever found in a NKJV. The cross reference system is extensive and the best available for a NKJV. The concordance is not as hefty as I like. The concordance should be updated and expanded from the Thomas Nelson of 30 years ago. The leather is perfect and if you like a bible that will have a rustic look with use but last forever this would be the one. The dark blue ribbons are top notch and match the Bible perfectly. I especially love the way the verse numbers stand out, not too large and not too small. The verse number of a black letter verse is red and a verse that is red text has a black verse number. I LOVE THIS. My favorite part is the one inch margin to write notes and extra references. This gives sufficient space without making it super heavy like typical wide margin bible. Although this is not considered a wide margin Bible it is perfect for preaching and teaching and jotting notes. The paper is so premium and it holds notes very well. I have had no bleed through with notes. There are 14 pages of note paper in the back which makes it a great Bible for preachers and teachers. Thank you Schuyler for your fine craftsmanship.

I think I found my “one”, so much so I think I will have to get another one. I’ve had a majority of the premium bible world in my collection. It’s a collection because I was searching for that one bible that I could take personal notes, preach, read, study etc. This is it guys/gals. The leather is great and thick like a baseball glove, smells amazing I am excited to see how it ages. The paper is smooth and creamy like dutch butter. It takes notes from my pigma micron PN excellent with no bleed through. For all those complaining about the 28gsm paper, get a life or go get a cheaper Thomas nelson, you are playing with the big boys here. This color way is topnotch. I am a sucker for a navy blue liner. The text block is magnificent. with all that being said and I don’t know how I am going to tell my wife but I’m getting another one in black goatskin, keeping that clean for the pulpit. What can I say you found the one you just know…

As with most Schuyler Bibles, you don’t have to think twice–just get it! You will NOT be disappointed. Case in point is the new NKJV Stridon … truly, a Bible for the ages! Perfect for reading. Perfect for studying. Perfect for showcasing; the Siena Calfskin pops! I hope that in the near future, EVBible will produce the Stridon in a handy size version as well. But, till then … getting this current version is NO MISTAKE.
