Description
The Treveris is a unique typesetting from Schuyler that seeks to give the Bible reader a format that is free of human commentary, i.e. without subheadings, references, etc., but at the same time remains practical for Bible study. The text itself is free from callers, subheadings, and numbers, but verse and chapter designations are available in the margins, with subheadings in the header.
Aniline Calfskin reveals the life of the animal in the natural grain, exhibiting pores, healed scars, insect bites, scratches, fat wrinkles, etc. Expect perfect imperfections! This beautiful leather will show marks and stains over time and develop a rich patina with use.

My Schuyler Treveris ESV, Tuscany Calfskin Bible, Zipper Edition arrived a couple ago and I cracked the pages open this morning. I was pleasantly surprised that the bible laid out nice and flat in my hand, the 10-point text was easy to read without having to strain my eyes, the pages were clean from being unencumbered by any human commentary, and the single column layout made so much sense for a daily reader like me. The overall size, thickness, and ruggedness of the book, equipped with a zipper to boot, would not make me hesitate to make this my every day carry bible. I also like the idea of a unique patina developing on the calfskin leather over time. When this bible is passed on to the next generation, my family will remember how I faithfully handled the word of truth in season and out of season.
