Description
The Treveris is a unique new typesetting from Schuyler that seeks to give the Bible reader a format that is free of human commentary, i.e. without subheadings, references, etc., but at the same time remains practical for Bible study. The text itself is free from callers, subheadings, and numbers, but verse and chapter designations are available in the margins, with subheadings in the header.
Aniline Calfskin reveals the life of the animal in the natural grain, exhibiting pores, healed scars, insect bites, scratches, fat wrinkles, etc. Expect perfect imperfections! This beautiful leather will show marks and stains over time and develop a rich patina with use.

Honestly, one of the most beautiful Bibles I’ve ever seen! The saddle brown color is a medium brown that I’m sure will darken beautifully over time. The red lining and ribbons complement the brown well. I was torn between the saddle brown and the Sienna but don’t feel disappointed in my choice at all. The leather feels amazing and the full yapp is wonderful. This is my first premium Bible and I couldn’t be happier.
Having never owned a paragraph Bible before wasn’t certain that I would like the format but I need not have worried. The paragraph layout helps me see the context so much easier, making for more enjoyable reading. Keeping the verse and chapter numbers in the margin is a great choice and doesn’t hinder finding the references for me. Old Testament quotes are sectioned off in the New. Overall the layout is great!
I just bought one in Desert Camel for my husband to use as his reading Bible and he loves it! It may be prettier than this although I wouldn’t trade the feel and look of the saddle brown. So happy with my forever Bible!
