Purchased to replace a thin line NASB produced by Zondervan.
My criticisms are that the verse numbers are too small and the Bible is heavy and large. It is however a beautiful Bible with a fabulous goatskin binding

This NASB Bible is incredibly beautiful. As I held it in my hands, I was just so astounded by the feel of the leather. So soft, so very lovely. Such a wonderful yapp . Inside I found the ever so easy to read comfort print in a single column. Lots of room for note taking. References are so nice. Not crowded. I have some of these Nelson/ Zondervan Premium Bibles. Each one is a work of art, but this one will probably be my favorite. It was due to arrive Saturday. But, it came Friday. Evangelical Bible is unsurpassed in the Bibles they offer and service and shipping. I highly recommend them.

Just received my NASB SCR bible today. First impression. Heavy. Second impression: Heavy. Probably the heaviest Bible I’ve own. MY previous study bibles doesn’t weigh that much (Must be an overweight goat that they slaughtered for skin and meat). The type is good size and font is pleasant to the eyes. I do wish the verse numberings are in bold (personal preference) for quick locating of verses. Will comment more after I get time to scrutinise the Bible. So first thought — HEAVY. Makes good arm strengthening tool. 🙂

I really do enjoy everything about this Bible and I was very excited about it. The construction feels very solid and the print is amazing!
However, I can not recommend it. Day 2 of use and pages are starting to come loose from the binding. There are sections that have become uneven with the rest of the pages. The back vinal end sheet is also starting to come unglued and making a crackling noise every time I open and close the Bible.
Sadly, I can not recommend this Bible. Maybe I got a dud, but it’s a lot of money spent on a faulty Bible. I’ll be sticking with dependable Bibles made by Schuyler.

Just received my Zondervan SCR NASB nicknamed the Czar. Lovely black rich goatskin. Smells good. It’s a beautiful Bible, worth every penny. The print is bold but quite a bit smaller than my Christmas Bible NASB Firebrick RED Quentel. I find the binding tight, but even since it’s arrival from evangelicalbible it’s better. Margins are nice. Just a all around good Bible. Terrific price here and free shipping. I forgot to ask for my initials on the Bible other than that mistake of mine, I am pleased as punch. It’s worth the investment, so buy if you can. God Bless you all.

My Bible arrived in the mail yesterday. Near perfection. The goatskin is beautiful and feels great! The paper is high quality with very little ghosting. I anticipate the price going up the longer this Bible is on the market. Get your hands on the Bible now!

Back in late December, I preordered the brand new Zondervan Premier Collection NASB Single-Column Reference Bible in black goatskin. Arrived today!
First impressions – I own two other Zondervan Premier Collection bibles (NKJV and NIV), but this copy has the best goatskin and smells amazing! The text block in my copy is lined up perfectly to the binding. This bible is big, larger than expected, and slightly larger than my Schuyler ESV Credo. The new 2K Denmark font is certainly nice, but not my favorite from the Zondervan Premier line. Regarding layout, I love the single-column SCR, but would have preferred paragraph instead of verse-by-verse. Additionally, the text is pushed considerably into the gutter. I’m not sure why the layout was designed with the text pushed that far over, although note takers will enjoy all the margin space.
Overall, this is a wonderful premium NASB. Although I would have preferred this in the smaller Zondervan Premier NKJV Single-Column reference size (likely my favorite layout of any premium bible), I still love this Bible and am proud to own it. Will be a joy to read and study from for years to come.
