1 review for CSB Diadem Reference Edition, Orange Rust Calfskin Leather, Red-Letter Text Bible

  1. Roy Smith III (verified owner)

This Bible does a great job at keeping with the Cambridge standard. The classic text arrangement is pleasing and the leather is good quality. The red lettering is lighter, rather than darker (as stated by other online reviewers), which makes it more difficult to read in direct light. For the price point, the leather and overall design feel lower quality than the Schuyler editions. Schuyler leather and ribbons make the Cambridge edition feel cheap by comparison.

It should be noted that the “orange rust” or “burnt orange” color is very orange. Think Florida Gators orange, not Texas Longhorns orange.

In addition, the art gilding on the top of the Bible arrived damaged from the manufacturer, as the box and the shipping container were in excellent condition.

Overall, it is a very nice Bible, although not as nice as one might expect for the price compared to their competitors.
