I have both the NASB 95 and ESV versions of the 2nd edition of the MacArthur study Bible. I just received the ESV version today. Both are beautiful and of a very high quality. The layouts seem the same down to the color scheme. The one major difference is in the goatskin covers. The NASB version has a very soft and flexible cover. Oddly, the ESV version has a much stiffer cover with a somewhat rough pebble-like texture. This is not necessarily a bad thing, just much different from the NASB. I acknowledge that it’s self-indulgent, but I’m grateful that I own this excellent study Bible in both the NASB and ESV translations.
