My first foray into the realm of premium Bibles was a Cambridge Clarionwide margin with goatskin cover I purchased here at Evangelical Bible. I love it great for notes, lays flat, great paper and very readable font, but it’s big and as someone who travels for my job I wanted something compact to take with me. A friend has a Schuyler Personal Quentel looking at the specs it had what I was looking for. It is a piece of art, finely crafted and beautiful, but it is also the perfect carry/travel size, not too thick(I was worried about that in a compact Bible) I find I am carrying this to church now as well, it is easy to read clear font, and I love the protection of the full yapp. There are note pages in the back but I do find I miss the wide margin for writing notes, but the size makes up for it and then some. Thank you Schuyler for making such a fine Bible, and thank you Evangelical Bible for such a great selection, and quick and painless exchange when the first has creases in the pages.

I have always appreciated the PSQ. As a minister, it’s a great on the go edition of Holy Scripture. While the classic edition is wonderful… this newly redesigned edition is amazing. Its size is perfect for an on the go Bible. Schuyler/Evangelical Bible is seconded to none in the premium Bible market here in the USA.

A brilliant accomplishment. The larger size Quentel reproduced at just the right reading and carrying size. Readable font, footnotes at the bottom (with the text above losing the markers for them), Apocryphal books at the end (making the NT closer to the middle), gorgeous full yapp cover and leather line, and generous ribbons. All in all, the best format yet to pair with it’s older sibling.

Just received my pre-ordered esv psq. I love it. The size is exactly what I needed. Not so small as to be too small and not so big as to not want to carry around. Perfect for evangelism; carrying with me into jails and around the streets and to worship. Beautiful Bible. Very well made. Definitely going to put a lot of miles on this one.

I wanted a small Bible for portability—an everyday carry, if you will. Wow! This Bible is a work of art. I have absolutely no gripes or complaints. The size was exactly what I was looking for because it is very light and easy to carry. The paper is phenomenal for 28 gsm; it is strong, and the texture makes it easy to turn pages. This Bible is tiny in the hand; however, the typeface is still comfortable to read for someone who does not require reading glasses. The black goatskin leather is luxurious in the hands and pliable but not delicate. I have absolutely no issues with this Bible and it is perfect for the application I was seeking.
Of note, I recently bought an Heirloom Single Column ESV by Crossway of very similar size; however, that Bible was of horrendous quality. The quality of this Schuyler Bible is unsurpassed. I could not be happier with this purchase!

I didn’t think I needed another Schuyler ESV Personal Size Quentel since I purchased one back in 2018. However, when I saw they were available in a full yapp, I had to have one. This is a beautiful Bible, and the full yapp goatskin is icing on the cake. This is one of my new favorite Bibles. Just like all the other Schuylers in my collection the design, layout and the quality is top notch. The black goatskin cover with the red leather liner, red head and tail bands and red ribbon markers really compliments the look of the Bible. The 8.5 font is very readable to me. The fact that the references and footnotes are at the bottom of the page enhances the reading experience for me. I’m not distracted by the references, but they are readily available when you need them. They are also easier to find with the chapter/verse numbers in red. I am very pleased to have added this Bible to my collection and I highly recommend this Bible to anyone who is looking for a smaller Bible of the highest quality.

This bible is everything I have been waiting for! The Personal Sized Quentel with a full yapp is the ideal bible for anyone who is looking for a premium ESV bible that is not too small for personal study, yet the right size for taking with them anywhere they go.
Aside from this, I am very pleased with the quality, the grain and the craftsmanship involved in constructing it. The spine on mine is subtly rounded and compliments the overall look much more than a flat spine. If I had any suggestions on what could make it better, it would be adding a third ribbon.
I look forward to using this bible for years to come!
