The bible and text block is exactly what you would expect from a PSQ – however the cover being a stiff cardboard essentially is not very practical, along with the zipper making it hard to easily access the early pages of the OT or later pages of the NT. It is a beautiful bible, and i really wanted the concept to work, but once I put it to use in my daily use these impractical observations were very apparent.

The Bible is perfect. If you like to take around your bible. And you want a high quality bible, this one is perfect.

This bible is absolutely gorgeous! The pull on the zipper is beautiful and it opens with ease. The paper is so soft and buttery. I’m so happy to have this version as I wanted a more portable ESV. It feels like a luxury bible in my hands as it does open up to flat.

The text block is the quality you’d expect. I carry this with me in my bag every day and use it regularly. For the price, the zippered version just does not feel as premium. The cover is very stiff and feels like cardboard, likely because of the paste down liner and probably required to keep the zipper out of the way. It feels like a bible I’d pay half this price for. If you are in the market for a PSQ, go for the full yapp version even for on the go usage. You won’t regret it.

Really nice bible, I really like the feel of the cover and zipper. Like all Schuyler bibles these days I with they would go back to the 36 GSM even on these small bibles, a little added thickness for the better paper would be so much nicer, the pages are easily damaged if you don’t turn the page just right. Please Schuyler, I understand it would cost more, but you know we’d be willing to pay more for better paper.
