It’s very nice. The picture in the listing is a good representation of the coloring/marbling that is present on the leather. It differs in feel to the Italian leathers (Tuscany/Sienna/SaddleBrown). This has the slightest bit of texture while the Italian leathers are smooth to the touch. This leather looksand feels very premium. The covers of the zipper version are flat and not malleable, at least not out of the box, whereas the non-zipper versions bend nicely in the hand. This is to be expected though as zipper Bibles are made to be tossed into a bag and used as a travel or go anywhere Bible while doing a great job at protecting the pages inside. It feels like there is a semi-stiff paperboard under the leather to give it rigidity and make it more durable. My only wish for this Bible is that it would still somehow incorporate ribbons. I know that would not be any easy task but maybe someone will think up an ingenious way to make that happen. Overall this is an amazing Bible. I would say hurry up and get this Bible of you did the color way like I do and want a Bible that’ll go with you wherever and however you want to carry it.
