The Schuyler Personal Size Quentel NASB is based on the Quentel Series, which is now available in the ESV, NKJV, NASB, NIV, CSB, NLT, and RSV. This edition is designed to be a ‘personal size’ companion to the regular sized Quentel since it is identical in pagination.

I have carried this with me for a couple weeks now, and used it for my daily reading and study. I also have a full size Quentel in NKJV, and I absolutely love the layout. The PSQ is every bit as readable at the Quentel, but in a perfect size. The pages themselves are about the size of the Cambridge Pitt Minion; Which is the most portable Bible I own, however it’s not the easiest to read or study from.
The PSQ does it all, this original size at least. I believe the ESV and NLT are in the new size of PSQ, and it’s not so personal size.
This NASB95 is the best size of Bible, with the best balance of portability and readability I have found to date. This is hands down my favorite daily driver Bible. (Schuyler, please keep the NASB95 in your available translations. It’s one of the most formal translations available to date, with some of the best cross references and translation notes.)
The PSQ text block is magnificent, with line matching pages on the classic Schuyler silky smooth paper. The text size and spacing is perfectly done; Size efficient and perfectly readable in nearly any lighting environment. It takes Pigma Micron 05 pens without bleed and little to no ghosting. The gold over red gilt is beautiful and well protected by the yapp.
The cross reference layout of the Quentel/PSQ is better than any other Bible I’ve used as an avid cross reference and translation note user. The superscript for the translation notes and cross references are very clear, and easily discernible from the clearly more bold verse numbers.
Page numbers are in the ideal spot, and more importantly, the book titles in the outside corner so they are easily seen flipping through to find your spot.
The leather cover had a quite strong smell from the tanning process when I received it. It since mellowed out and is now a pleasant leather smell. This is my first full yapp Bible, and it’s not too much or too little, and does a fantastic job of protecting the pages, while not being in the way while reading. It lays perfectly flat, and the cover is very soft and supple.
The two ribbons seem securely attached. And match the deep red of the inside of the cover. They are wide with a great quality and feel to them.
The PSQ, in this size, is my all time favorite Bible. As long as Schuyler keeps this size, I will buy more in the future. If you’re thinking about buying one, please do. Carry it, read it, study it, and apply it daily. The Word will change and bless your life if you let it.

I just received my copy of the saddle brown PSQ nasb, and I couldn’t be more impressed! This is the size and style that I’ve been searching for. Small enough to take anywhere, but very readable. I really enjoy the NAS PSQ for the convenance of a carry Bible. The Saddle Brown first off is made of the stately no nonsense aniline calfskin. This color reminds me of fine leather in a Barristers office! Well made and thick cover. Beautifully paired with red calfskin liner.
