This Bible is absolutely perfect. The size is wonderful, and it’s incredible that the text is larger than in many NIV editions with a bigger footprint. The font is very clear. The two ribbons are nice and wide and don’t look out of place on a small Bible. The full yapp cover and attention to detail is unsurpassed.
One of my favourite touches is that all the verse numbers are in bold; they are easily located with a quick scan over a page, but they are never distracting. It has become my go-to in classes, as looking up scripture very quickly becomes important. I also really like that Schuyler chose to retain the black verse numbers even in the red letter parts of the New Testament. It’s super legible.
My one little gripe, which is not about the Bible at all, is that this size is no longer available for the ESV or NLT translation. I have the larger size PSQ, and I think it’s a terrific and beautiful Bible, absolutely one of my favourites, BUT… I don’t really think it could be described as ‘personal size’. I think of it more as a mid-size Bible. It isn’t portable in the same way as this is. I actually think there is a place for both sizes, and I really hope that at some point Schuyler will consider offering the smaller PSQ in these other translations again. Schuyler is the best in the land for Bibles, and this small PSQ offers something that cannot be found anywhere else in the premium bound market.

Just got mine today…absolutely beautiful…as soon as I get my inheritance I plan on ordering a Regular size Quentel to go with it !! Also a Journal when you have a black goatskin one !!
