This is my first Schuyler Personal Size Bible. I previously bought a full yapp Schuyler Quentel NLT Imperial Blue bible a few years ago with 11 size Milo font. I use it at home. I prefer larger size fonts because, although my eyesight is currently fine, I want a bible that will age with me for when I’m much older.
I realized I needed a smaller bible to bring to church for bible study. For many years I’ve been hesitant to purchase a Schuyler Personal Size Bible due to the smaller font size. Although it’s only an 8.5 size font, it is readable and serviceable for travel use.
I LOVE the black pearl cover and blue ribbons! The black pearl calf skin leather is stunning!! I also love all Schuyler bibles with blue under silver art gilt. I find it easier on the eyes when reading.
As someone who is autistic, I find the typical red under gold art gilt an unpleasant sensory experience and totally distracting.
I also love bibles with words of Christ in black, like this one. I also like the new NLT on the spine. It looks much cleaner.
Schuyler, we all know you produce some of the best bibles on the market. As such, it is near impossible to find any premium NLT or CSB bibles. NLT and CSB are my two favourite translations. NLT is my first choice.
Schuyler, please consider selling a standard size full yapp Schuyler Stridon NLT and Stridon CSB bible, with at least one option of Black Pearl with 10 point font, preferably, with words of Christ in black, and with at least one blue under silver art gilt option. I suspect it would be extremely popular and would most likely sell out.
Again, as someone who is autistic, I find the standard double column format bibles distracting to read. I much prefer single column, as long as the text is not lost in the gutter.
Overall, the PSQ is extremely high quality, even though my preference is for Schuyler Quentel NLT due to the larger font.
A full yapp Schuyler Stridon NLT bible would be my dream bible. Let’s pray Schuyler considers this feedback. God bless!
