This is my second Schuyler Bible, my first being the ESV Quentel saddleback. The Tuscany NASB95 is noticeably bigger than my ESV, mostly due to the change to 36 GSM paper. I was hesitant to go with this color this time but it really grew on me, it quickly became my favorite. So much so that I bought the journal to go with it. The only thing that could’ve been better was for this series to include the drop caps as some of their other editions have. But overall, I have no regrets whatsoever about this purchase

This is my third Schuyler, and once again the craftsmanship blows me away! The leather is absolutely stunning — rich, supple, and built to age beautifully. The 11 point font is perfect for me and highly readable, and although this Bible is larger than I expected, I can already tell it will stand shoulder to shoulder with my current favorite, the NLT Personal Size Quentel. In fact, it feels like the perfect complement to that edition.
I was hoping for a few natural blemishes in the leather to add character, but this one is nearly flawless — which speaks to the quality, even if I enjoy the rugged look. The block and spine are both pristine, with no issues at all. Honestly, I can’t wait for the patina to develop over time; once it does, this Bible will carry its own unique personality, and it will truly feel like mine.
Overall, an exceptional Bible — elegant, durable, and a joy to hold. Schuyler has delivered yet again!

I already own this edition with the 28 GSM paper. The Bible is the nicest Bible I own, and I own many. I preordered the Saddle Brown with the Limited Edition 36 GSM paper, but I might have to go ahead and preorder this edition, too.

Overall a nice Bible; however the aniline cover is not glued to the liner very well. There are at least a dozen areas along the inside of the yapp that separated. If the cover and liner were not sewn, the cover would separate entirely along the yapp. I have numerous Schuyler Bibles and this is the first with this problem. The 11 pt. font is really easy on older eyes.

I’ve had a Schuyler in every cover option and the aniline calfskin is the best so far! It’s thick and supple plus it smells amazing. The pictures do not do the color justice, it’s a nice orangeish tan that looks like it’ll break in and patina beautifully. Also the yapp is yapptastic and trains without being wrapped. So do yourself a favor and buy one before they’re gone.

Wow! This Tuscany calfskin is a home run for those who prefer a more rustic leather.
The Tuscany leather is thicker than the other calf skin covers, and is not silky like them, but it is very smooth. And the leather smell it reminds me of baseball glove leather!
To hold in hand, the Bible in Tuscany calf does not open floppy like the goatskin or the other calfskin covers. I personally like that quite a bit!
I also like that Schuyler seems to have coordinated the art gilt to complement this tan Tuscany with the former salmon under gold , v.s., the now red under gold. And the dry stamping on the spine and cover are different shades of tan also.
I enjoy it a lot and you may too!
