Wow! This Tuscany calfskin is a home run for those who prefer a more rustic leather.
The Tuscany leather is thicker than the other calf skin covers, and is not silky like them, but it is very smooth. And the leather smell it reminds me of baseball glove leather!
To hold in hand, the Bible in Tuscany calf does not open floppy like the goatskin or the other calfskin covers. I personally like that quite a bit!
I also like that Schuyler seems to have coordinated the art gilt to complement this tan Tuscany with the former salmon under gold , v.s., the now red under gold. And the dry stamping on the spine and cover are different shades of tan also.
I enjoy it a lot and you may too!
