I got this Bible a couple of months ago and forgot to write a review
First of all, if you don’t know this already, Schuyler will not be producing the NASB 95 any longer
So once these are gone, they are gone
Personally, I have looked deeply into the changes that have been made in the 2020 and I am just not interested
This Bible is fantastic!
I looked at a lot of reviews and decided on the marbled merlot calf skin
I really don’t have words. The color is so deep and rich, and the leather is kind of thick and super buttery soft and just a joy to touch and hold.
I had bought the PSQ in the same leather but when I realized they were not being produced anymore, I thought I better grab a full-size ASAP
The paper is beautiful a nice creamy color and the 28 GSM paper is great
And it is super smooth.
Just a joy to touch And the pages are very easy to turn
I love the lay out.and the words of Christ are in black, which I prefer as usually even with high-quality Bibles the red lettering can be a little inconsistent
NASB 95 and the KJV are my favorite translations
Don’t hesitate too long if you are thinking about it
The PSQ’s are already sold out
The staff at Schuyler Bibles are wonderful if you have any questions
God bless y’all and shine your (HIS!) light

I watched many YouTube videos about Quentel and it is indeed a beautiful bible. The leather is very soft and smooth. My only complaint and it’s not a complaint, I wish the paper was thicker. If I order another Quentel, it most likely will be a wide margin, due to the paper thickness.

This is my first premium Bible purchase and review. The Schuyler Quentel NASB 95 in the Marbled Merlot is simply beautiful.
I wasn’t sure I would like the double column paragraph layout, because I am very partial to a verse-by-verse layout; however, I have heard that Schuyler will NOT be coming out with a NASB 95 Stridon, so I had to make a decision. I am so glad I did…although I love the Stridon layout, the Quentel reads beautifully during my daily devotional readings and the 11 pt font is amazing for daily devotional time as well. I can’t see ever needing a larger font for reading especially with the spacing in this layout.
Another bonus with the Quentel layout is the fact that the regular Quentel, the personal size and the wide margin all have the same pagination…this is amazing. Well, it will be when I am in a position to purchase the wide margin. My intention is to have the standard Quentel as my daily reader and the wide margin for all my notes, so I would be able to just make a quick mark in my reader to indicate that I have a note in the wide margin. Not to mention the ability to remember where passages are since the pagination is the same!
Oh and I must mention, the 28gsm paper is the softest paper I have ever felt in my life – it’s just perfect!
Thank you for a beautiful Bible that I will use and cherish the rest of my life!!
