I have not purchased a Schuyler Bible that I haven’t liked. The quality is always spot on and customer service is quick to answer any questions.

The imperial blue goatskin is very dark, which I enjoy. The blue art gilt is sharp with the silver page gilding (a color combo that is really hard to beat). Some people complain about the 28gsm paper being too thin, however I have not found this to be so. If you want to use the Bible for marking just know that ahead of time and maybe save for the wide margin. The 11 point text is extremely easy to read and while some may find it too large it does not seem excessive, even for my younger eyes.

Overall it is a fantastic Bible and if you enjoy full yapp this is the one for you!

The NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE [NASB] is not ‘among’ my favorite translations…due ‘in large part’ to its ‘very stilted’ style of English–probably resulting from ‘an obsessive adherence’ by “…THE TRANSLATORS…” to literal ‘word-for-word’ translation from ‘the original toungues’. [Which…no doubt…was essentially to ‘satisfy’ Protestant fundamentalism’s “so-called penchant” for accuracy].

Plus…[to the best of my knowledge]…no edition of the NASB has ever “been published and/or produced” which includes ‘the Books called Apocrypha’ as an “integral component” of the Holy Scriptures. (…I always “recall & refer” to ‘MATTHEW: Chapter 4, Verse 4’.)

Nevertheless…the NASB continues to ‘hold & maintain’ esteemed prominence with ‘conservative Protestants’. It never has been (…nor probably ever will be…) ‘popular’ with practitioners of Roman Catholicism. It is what is…a ‘Protestant bible’…just as the DOUAY-RHEIMS VERSION [DRV] is a ‘Catholic bible’. (…’Sectarian distinctions’ should always ‘be considered’ it seems to me.)

(NOTE: I myself do ‘NOT’ belong to ‘any ⛪ church’ or denomination.)

Be that as it may…I am compelled ‘to acknowledge’ that SCHUYLER PUBLISHERS’s ‘Quentel NABS bound in imperial-blue goatskin leather edition’ is “breathtaking…absolutely magnificent”…!

The ‘buttery feel’ of the goatskin cover…the ‘medium-sized’ typesetting printed by “Jongbloed in the Netherlands”…the ‘silky-smooth’ Bible paper…the striking ‘blue-under-gold’ art-gilting on the ‘pages/leaves’…the ‘highly creative’ designs on the preliminary pages for “presentation…marriages…births…deaths”…the NASB concordance…the SCHUYLER PUBLISHERS ‘Bible Maps Atlas’ [with ‘references & assistance’ by DR. BARRY J. BEITZEL]…all ‘bear witness’ as to why ‘this edition’ of the NASB is an ‘heirloom Bible’ of the “first magnitude”…!!!

    “Folks”…it doesn’t get any better than this…!

    Blessings… & & ,
    Bill ” ” Johnson…!

Received my Blue Quentel last week with the full yapp, and must say this is my favorite Schuyler Bible I have bought to date. Love the supple leather and detail to qualityof this Bible.
    Thank you.

My Navy Blue Schuyler Quentel NASB full yapp arrived Saturday. I couldn’t be happier! I have owned a Schuylers in the past and bought Schuylers for other people, and this new version with the full yapp is the best! The goatskin is the best I have ever handled. 2K Denmark creates an excellent layout. The binding is top-notch. No detail has been missed creating this Bible. I am one satisfied customer! In fact, I am so satisfied that I just preordered the KJV for a pastor friend of mine.

I purchased the purple goatskin for a pastor friend of the family who had just painted his “Lydia” car purple. He wanted it really badly, so when he showed it to me at a Bible conference, I decided to purchase this blue one as a present for my pastor son and the black one for my pastor son-in-law for Christmas. They both absolutely love them. My son-in-law had worn out his pulpit Bible, so he especially loved his. My son says it is so legible and so well made and appointed. The reception from all three thrilled this old mother’s heart. Can’t go wrong with Schuyler. Everyone who receives one is astounded and pleased.

This is the greatest edition of the Holy Bible that I’ve ever seen! I just got mine today and I’m glad to be the first to review the Schuyler Quentel NASB with a full Yapp. My wonderful wife gave me the Imperial Blue for our anniversary and it arrived promptly today. The layout and type is typical Schuyler Quentel. For years they have set the platinum standard when it comes to readability. They are heads and shoulders above everyone else with the design created by 2K Denmark. The paper is so soft to the touch with a great opacity so see through is minimal (pretty much on par with the older 36 gsm editions of the past). It is wonderfully bound making it sturdy and solid with a durability that will last for years. As for the cover, I have never had such a soft goatskin. This is my seventh premium (I’ve already given four of them away-so I’m down to three) and it outshines the others with the full yapp cover. I’ve had an ESV Omega which was such a pliable goatskin, but this one surpasses it (which I was surprised by). To me, this is the very best Bible I have ever handled and it appears to me that Schuyler has been slowly evolving the Quentel to finally arrive at this apex of Bible design. They did a great job!
