This cover rocks more than most. It is truly outstanding and unique. Its more like the goatskin than it is like the other calf skin covers. Its floppy and easily bendable which I like. The pictures give a good resemblance of what you will be getting. I wish the paper were more opaque, but I can live with it since it will be a reading Bible for me and not a study Bible. No stars off. If you want a one of kind cover this one is it. I believe this may be my favorite cover of all time, and I have purchased quite a number of calfskin and goatskins to make a comparison. Don’t hesitate to purchase!!!!!!
