1 review for Schuyler Stridon ESV, Olive Green Calfskin Bible

  1. Robb Brunansky

The Stridon ESV is an absolutely stunning presentation of the ESV text. It is very readable, the paper is soft, and the typesetting is of the highest quality. The size is a bit bigger than what I would call a personal size or handy size Bible, but it’s still portable for Sunday worship. It also works great for preaching and teaching. My only criticism of this otherwise flawless design is that there is no way to distinguish paragraph divisions in the text. There are no paragraph markers or bold verse numbers to visually show a new paragraph. With the verse-by-verse layout, that makes finding the editorial choices on paragraphing difficult. I’d love to see this design updated with some way to distinguish paragraphs.
