Received my Stridon NKJV Olive regular Yapp yesterday. Came over night by FedEx, very quick delivery. A little anxious about the color but to my surprise it is everything I hoped for. The color is truly Olive and beautiful. I can’t say enough about the Stridon in general. This is my second one. Schuyler does it right every time. If you are undecided about a quality Bible. U cannot go wrong. I own Cambridge, Allan and Schuyler in premiums, overall Schuyler is tops.

Excellent quality and beautiful Bible – at times I wish the pages were slightly thicker but then I realize how easy it is to carry, and the thinner pages are much more durable than I thought they would be upon first opening the Bible. The leather in the Olive Green Calfskin is gorgeous and has about the perfect amount of flex vs. durability. The layout is impeccable and perfect for teaching and preaching. It really is about the perfect value when looking at price vs. features/durablity. It can last a lifetime. The $235 price scared me at first, but when you think about the materials, craftsmanship, and time that went into this, and then you think about how you can easily spend $235 on a couple of concert tickets, meals out with the family, etc., you realize that things like that leave memories but are over and done with in a couple of hours. With this Bible, you have something crafted with care and built to last. Treasure it, read it, leave notes or comments for your family to read long after you have left this world for eternity. Thanks Schuler and EVB for producing this and getting it out there for us 🙂

I recently received the beautiful NKJV Stridon in Olive Green Calfskin. I chose this color because I don’t have another like it, and I’m so glad I did because it’s even more incredible in real life. Mine is a bit darker than pictured and quite stunning.
I have several different Schuylers (I know I am truly blessed) and the Stridon is as perfect as the others. I love the layout of single column, verse by verse, and glad it’s available in the NKJV.
It’s got such a wonderful feel to it, both the pages and the calfskin, and it’s a real pleasure to read. I actually prefer the slightly stiffer calfskin over goatskin.
It’s a bit bigger and heavier than other Schuylers, so I wouldn’t use it as a portable Bible, but it’s perfect for sitting and reading.
If I could change anything it would be to start each book on a new page and have just a few pages of lined paper in the back…. I know it would make it a little bigger and heavier, but surely not too much.
I recommend this beautiful Bible to anyone wanting to sit and enjoy absorbing God’s word.
